GOAL!!! 5-1 to Spartak. Promes has his second goal of the night. The winger cuts inside as Sevilla's defenders stand and watch as he releases a shot from 25 yards that beats Rico into the bottom left-hand corner. He runs to embrace his manager and is surely the man-of-the-match.

Assist Dmitri Kombarov
GOAL!! 3-1 to Spartak. Sevilla's evening goes from bad to worse! The captain Glushakov dispatches an excellent volley following Kombarov's cross from the left-hand side. Mercado has been poor tonight at right-back and he was far too slow closing down the space to prevent Kombarov's delivery.
64'
Krohn-Dehli has a long-range shot blocked and he cuts a frustrated figure after seeing numerous efforts denied by Selikhov this evening.
62'
The game becomes a bit scrappy as both sides concede possession. It has been an evening for the wide players with very little of the match being played through the middle.
60'
Can Sevilla respond again? They've dominated large periods of this match but have failed to make the most of their opportunites and look vulnerable to pace. Berizzo may need to gamble now to try and earn a point.
58'
L. Melgarejo has scored a goal for Spartak Moscow! Assist by Q. Promes.
Assist Quincy Anton Promes
GOAL!!! 2-1 to Spartak. What a strike by the substitute Melgarejo. This has come completely against the run of play but it is a moment of pure quality. Promes picked up a good position on the inside right and laid off a pass to the Paraguayan who released a first time 25-yard effort that flew past Rico into the bottom right corner. The home side regain the lead!
57'
M. Pašalić enters the game and replaces I. Popov.
Mario Pasalic replaces Popov who has had a frustrating evening.
55'
Krohn-Dehli went down under the clash with Selikhov but the veteran midfielder gets to his feet and is set to continue.
53'
How are Sevilla not ahead? Nolito, who is tormenting Spartak, lofts a pass from the left wing through to Krohn-Dehli who is bundled over by the onrushing Selikhov. The ball breaks to Ben Yedder who sells one defender with a dummy before stiking from 8 yards but his goalbound shot is remarkabely blocked by Kombarov on the line! Spartak are clinging on here.

Krohn-Dehli is denied again by Selikhov!! The Danish midfielder strikes a sweet volley from the edge of the box that bounces in front of the Russian goalkeeper who does well to make the save and get the ball clear of danger.

Yellow card for Escudero for a heavy tackle near the halfway line. The delivery is cleared by Sevilla and now Spartak can enjoy a period of possession. Popov engineers a yard of space but shoots straight at Rico from 20 yards.
35'
Sevilla have grown into this game and are stroking the ball around at will as Spartak are chasing shadows. Nolito looks very dangerous as he drops into pockets to evade the Spartak defenders and lays off passes to his team-mates. A lobbed ball is collected by Selikhov and the home side get some respite.
34'
G. Dzhikia gets yellow.
Booking for Spartak centre-back Dzhikiya who does not look pleased with the decision and is letting the referee know about it.
30'
S. Kjær has scored a goal for Sevilla!
GOAL!!! 1-1. Sevilla are level. Danish centre-back Kjaer controls a set-piece delivery with his chest and shows the instincts of a striker in flashing his eight yard volley into the bottom right corner. That goal has been coming as Sevilla have played with a high intensity since going behind.
28'
A shot by Melgarejo at the edge of the box is blocked before it breaks to Luiz Adriano who cuts into the box but shoots wide of the left-hand post.
27'
This is a very open game so far and both managers will be concerned by the porous defending of their respective players. Sevilla are finding most of their joy down the left wing and seem intent on targeting right-back Eshchenko who looks vulnerable to pace.
25'
L. Melgarejo enters the game and replaces A. Samedov.
Sevila should be level. Great work by Nolito down the left wing who goes by two players in the box and cuts the ball back but no Sevilla player is there to convert and Spartak hook the ball clear for a corner which comes to nothing.
23'
Samedov's night is over after the winger goes down with a suspected hamstring injury from playing a short pass in midfield with Paraguay winger Lorenzo Melgarejo coming on his place.
20'

Assist Andrey Eshchenko
GOAL!!! 1-0 to Spartak. The home side are ahead and the stadium erupts with noise. Promes buries his six yard header after a magnificent cross by Eshchenko after the ball rebounded off a Sevilla defender. Not the best defending by the Spanish side and they face a tough task now.
16'
Sevilla win a corner on the left wing which Krohn-Dehli swings in with his left foot but it's cleared by Spartak who break downfield.
13'
Now Luiz Adriano goes down under a heavy tackle which causes jeers from the crowd as the referee decides to keep his cards in his pockets. Adriano is moving gingerly but is fine to continue.

We're off!
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of this evening's Champions League Group E game between Spartak Moscow and Sevilla at the Otkrytiye Arena.
Sevilla travel to the Russian capital tonight looking to maintain their early lead in Group E. The Spanish club have four points from their opening two fixtures following a 2-2 draw away to Liverpool and a 3-0 home victory against Slovenian side Maribor. Eduardo Berizzo has made a good start as Sevilla manager with his side currently fifth in LaLiga on 16 points from eight games. They come into this fixture on the back of a 1-0 defeat away to Athletic Bilbao. Their only other defeat came away to Atletico Madrid last month with a 2-0 final score at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Spartak Moscow earned a 1-1 draw at home to Liverpool on matchday two after Brazilian midfielder Fernando’s free-kick gave the home side a first half lead before Philippe Coutinho’s equaliser. The defending Russian Premier League champions drew away to Maribor 1-1 in their opening fixture and are second in Group E, level on points with Liverpool. Italian coach Massimo Carrera led Spartak to their first league title since 2001 but they are currently fifth in the table, eight points behind leaders Zenit Saint Petersburg after 13 games. Spartak defeated Akhmat Grozny away 2-1 on Friday to keep their title defence on track.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this afternoon…
Spartak Moscow XI (4-5-1): A. Selikhov, Eshchenko, Tasci, Dzhikiya, Kombarov, Fernando, Glushakov, Samedov, Popov, Promes, Luiz Adriano.
Spartak substitutes: Pasalic, Maksimenko, Pedro Rocha, Bocchetti, Petkovic Melgarejo, Kutepov.
Sevilla XI (4-3-3): Rico, Mercado, Kjaer, Lenglet, Escudero, Pizarro, Banega, Krohn-Dehli, Nolito, Sarabia, Ben Yedder.
Sevilla substitutes: Correa, Soria, Vazquez, Navas, Corchia, Muriel, Geis.
Carrera makes one change to his Spartak line-up from the Akhmat Grozny victory with Bulgarian midfielder Ivelin Popov replacing winger Pedro Rocha who drops to the bench.
Berizzo makes five changes to his team with Mercado, Escudero, Krohn-Dehli, Nolito, and Ben Yedder all returning to the side. Ex-Manchester City winger Jesus Navas is on the bench.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
A frantic first half comes to an end and Sevilla will be relatively pleased with their work so far after falling behind to Promes' thumping 10th minute header. Berizzo's side have been impressive since going behind and should have equalised on a number of occassions before defender Simon Kjaer scored from a close-range volley after 30 minutes. The Spanish side would be in front if not for the heroics of Selikhov in net who made a glorious save from Krohn-Dehli on the stoke of half-time. It promises to be an entertaining second half with both defences looking open.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half.
Sevilla play the ball on the left wing waiting for the referee to put them out of their misery.
There will be three minutes of additonal time.
FULL-TIME: SPARTAK MOSCOW 5-1 SEVILLA
A remarkable last 32 minutes saw Spartak score four goals to inflict a heavy defeat on Sevilla. Quincy Promes' opener was cancelled out by Simon Kjaer before half-time. Sevilla should have taken a second half lead through Wissam Ben Yedder minutes before Spartak substitute Lorenzo Melgarejo opened the floodgates with a magnificient effort. Goals followed from the captain Denis Glushakov, Luiz Adriano and Promes rounded off his brace at the death. With Liverpool winning 7-0 against Maribor, Spartak are second in Group E but level on five points with Jurgen Klopp's side. Sevilla are a point behind in thrid and will need to do some soul searching on their long journey home to Spain.
