The Hammers have gone eight matches without a win in the Premier League and are three points adrift of safety in 19th place. David Moyes has not enjoyed success since replacing Slaven Bilic in the dugout, losing three out of his four matches in charge. This includes West Ham's narrow loss at the hands of Manchester City last time out. There were good moments for the club in the contest, but they were not good enough to claim a positive result, despite taking the lead through Angelo Ogbonna.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between West Ham and Chelsea at London Stadium.
Chelsea are slowly finding their rhythm in the Premier League, winning six out of their last seven matches. Their last defeat came at the hands of Crystal Palace at the beginning of October, but due to their sluggish start, the Blues are well off the pace of Manchester City at the top of the table. Antonio Conte's men cannot afford any further setbacks in their pursuit of City.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
Chelsea were frustrated during the week in their 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid, which forced them to settle for second place in Group C. A a result, they could face an elite team in the first knockout round, which could have consequences for their Premier League campaign. Conte will be desperate for his side to be more clinical this evening than they were on Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge.
WEST HAM (3-5-1-1): Adrian; Reid, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Zabaleta, Lanzini, Noble, Obiang, Masuaku; Arnautovic; Antonio.
West Ham subs: Carroll, Sakho, Hernandez, Ayew, Hart, Fernandes, Rice.
Chelsea subs: Caballero, Rudiger, Pedro, Moses, Willian, Batshuayi, Ampadu.

Mark Noble and Winston Reid return to the fold to strengthen the spine of the team, while Marko Arnautovic starts behind Michail Antonio in attack. Andy Carroll and Javier Hernandez are back on the bench for the Hammers.
Chelsea have made one change to the side that drew with Atletico during the week. Marcos Alonso comes back into the side to replace Victor Moses, with Davide Zappacosta reverting back to the right flank.
FLASHBACK! Chelsea recorded a 2-1 win over West Ham in this fixture in the Premier League last season thanks to goals from Diego Costa and Eden Hazard. However, the Hammers did beat the Blues in the fourth round of the League Cup earlier in the 2016-17 campaign.
STAT ATTACK! West Ham have won just two of their last 22 Premier League games against Chelsea (D4 L16), losing both matches last season 2-1.
STAT ATTACK! Chelsea have lost three of their last six visits to West Ham United in all competitions (W3 D0 L3), losing in the League Cup and winning in the Premier League at the London Stadium last season.
The players are out on the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
HALF-TIME: WEST HAM 1-0 CHELSEA

The Austrian worked well with Manuel Lanzini in the final third before firing his effort past Thibaut Courtois. It's all going to plan for the home side at the interval.
