The end of the season can’t come quick enough for Aston Villa fans. Whilst Premier League football at Villa Park is now numbered, this drab season has been torture for anybody associated with the Midlands outfit. Today, travelling to Watford, they may stand a small chance against a side who have also endured a torrid 2016.
With Watford out of the FA Cup and little to play for in the league, it’s no surprise Quique Flores has went with a few changes from the side which started the semi-final; Parades, Anya and Mario Suarez all make the XI.

Meanwhile, Eric Black hands 19-year-old Kevin Toner his first start in an Aston Villa shirt in midfield in one of four changes from the side that started against Southampton. Joining Toner in the XI is Bunn, Clark and Gestede.
Just five minutes until kick-off! The fans are in their seats, the atmosphere is building and the players are in the tunnel.
Half-time at Vicarage Road and it's 1-1 between Watford and Villa. The home side dominated the early stages, but Villa eventually took the lead and control of the game, but a late strike from Adbi has completely changed the match ahead of the second half.
Three points for Watford after a late double from Deeney relieves a bit of pressure from Quique Flores following a torrid 2016.
