CHANCE! Alaba plays Lewandowski in for a tap-in, but the striker's backheel is just wide!
90' +1
Bayern are just looking to see this victory out now. Hamburg push forward in search of a dramatic, late equaliser, but they don't look like getting it.
88'
CHANCE! Robben volleys a sweet left-footed strike narrowly wide of the far corner!
85'
CHANCE! Alaba sends a cross in which finds its way back out to Vidal, whose fierce, low drive is caught and held well by Mathenia!
83'
CHANCE! Bayern rattle the post again as Tolisso's goalbound header from a corner deflects off of a defender! They can't get this second goal!
82'
CHANCE! Robben races through but Mathenia is - again - quick off his line to make an outstanding stop and deny the Dutchman!
81'
Hamburg push forward in an attempt to snatch something with the energy of their substitutes, but Bayern are now firmly back in control. They work the ball well to Alaba, who has a go from the edge of the box, but it's far too high.
77'
CHANCE! Hummels meets a corner squarely and directs his header towards the far corner well, but it sails agonisingly wide!
76'
F. Kostić enters the game and replaces A. Hahn.
T. Ito enters the game and replaces R. van Drongelen.
C. Tolisso gets yellow.
Even more drastically, defender Van Drongelen is replaced by forward Ito as Hamburg go back to a back four as they chase the game.
Hahn is replaced by Serbian forward Kostić in an attempt to provide a creative spark and snatch a point here.

Description
75'
This time it's the goalscorer - Tolisso - who finds his way into the book for an overzealous challenge.
73'
G. Sakai gets yellow.
Coman is felled again as he bursts away from his man, and Sakai gets a deserved yellow card for catching the back of his ankle.
72'
CHANCE! Thiago lets fly from outside the box and is very unlucky to see his shot cannon back off the far post. It was curling away from the keeper and had him beaten!
71'
Good keeping from Mathenia as Robben floats a delightful ball into the box for Tolisso to tap in his second, but the stopper is out quickly and punches the ball away.
68'
Vidal tries to release Robben into the box with a ball over the top, but the keeper is alert and out quickly to smother the chance.
67'
CHANCE! Coman sees a yard of space as he cuts in from the left and the chance opens up for him. He tries to curl the ball into the top corner, but it's a little too central and Mathenia can catch it.
65'
Bayern press and win the ball back high up the field through Lewandowski, but he has no options and is forced backwards. The visitors are pushing for a second goal, but they aren't overcommitting. They are happy to be patient and work the ball around.
64'
Bayern are playing some dangerous crosses into the box, but Hamburg are surviving for the moment - just.
63'
Coman plays a neat one-two into the box, but tries to volley his pass back across goal instead of shooting, and the contact is scruffy.
62'
L. Holtby enters the game and replaces A. Hunt.
Former Spurs and Schalke man Holtby replaces Hunt in midfield.
59'
Lewandowski tries again with a run down the left side of the box, but he can only win a corner.
58'
CHANCE! A great ball is whipped into Lewandowski from the right, but he wasn't expecting it and his touch is a little heavy, allowing the goalkeeper to gather. He was all on his own with the keeper had that touch stuck, and the flag stayed down too!
55'
Thiago Alcântara enters the game and replaces T. Müller.
Müller, a half-time substitute himself, has to be replaced just 10 minutes into the second half after picking up an injury. Thiago is the man to replace him, and will play as the number 10 behind Lewandowski.
54'
Hamburg are screaming for a penalty as Hunt is felled in the box, but nothing is given and the visitors hack it clear.
52'
C. Tolisso has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by T. Müller.
Müller claims the assist, but it was hit at him really. Very, very poor from all three central defenders there.
GOAL! Tolisso breaks the Hamburg resistance! Alaba swings in a cross that is not dealt with by any of the three central defenders, and the midfielder can stab it home at the back post. The cross was short but the first two defenders somehow missed it, and the third kicked it at Muller, before it ricocheted back into the path of Tolisso.
51'
Robben feeds Muller in the box, who tries a clever backheel, but it doesn't quite come off and Hamburg deal with the situation well.
49'
Papadopoulos hacks the ball away from Alaba's cross. The former Schalke and Leverkusen man has a lot to prove here at Hamburg after showing a lot of promise and potential in his youth.
47'
CHANCE! Hahn puts in a hefty challenge and gets away without a booking, before Vidal strikes a powerful one from distance that takes a slight deflection and goes just wide. That was heading for the bottom corner!
46'
T. Müller enters the game and replaces J. Rodríguez.
James is replaced at half-time for Müller. Perhaps Heynckes will look for Muller to push up closer to Lewandowski and turn the screw with his goal threat.
And we're back underway! Hamburg kick us on in the second half.
45'
J. Rodríguez gets yellow.
James goes into the book for barging his man over from behind. There's no lack of aggression from either side here.
43'
Hummels advances to the edge of the box looking to create something, and wins a throw. Bayern are really stepping up their game now.
42'
This is turning into a feisty affair as the half draws to a close. Tolisso wriggles past his marker but is pulled down, and there's a little bit of afters as the free-kick is awarded.
41'
Well surely Bayern will assert their authority now against their opponents, who had looked bright up until the red card.
39'
G. Jung goes off after a red card!
Jung sees red! Bayern looked to break as Robben played the ball to Coman, and Jung scythed him down cynically just outside the centre circle. It was worthy of a booking certainly, but there wasn't a direct goalscoring opportunity and the challenge wasn't particularly dangerous. Red seems a little harsh there, but Hamburg are down to 10 men regardless!
38'
It is a good delivery to the back post, but there were no Hamburg players in that position!
37'
Diekmeier surges forward down the right and wins another corner. Surely this one will be a good delivery into the box?
36'
Bayern look to respond with a quick break, but Lewandowski can't find Robben with his flick, which was poor and behind his team-mate. Bayern haven't looked like themselves in this half really.
35'
Jung has looked bright for Hamburg so far, and has caused Bayern a few problems going forward.
33'
Hamburg with an impressive attack! They whip the ball in several times, and although Bayern just about deal with it, they look a little ruffled at the back. Good work from the hosts.
32'
Hamburg win another corner, but it's another wasted opportunity as it's taken short and smothered.
30'
Alaba produces a driving run down the left, but his lofted cross towards Lewandowski is just too long and he can't get there.
29'
Coman cuts infield amnd sparks an attack. He plays the ball and gets it back in the box before being felled, but the referee waves play on!
27'
Hamburg win a corner with a rare foray into Bayern territory, but it's wasted as the cross is massively overhit, allowing Bayern to regroup.
25'
James feeds Rafinha well on the right, and the Brazilian's cross is good, but Hamburg deal with it and get it clear.
24'
A long ball catches the Hamburg back-line out and Coman spins in behind, but it's too heavy and runs on through to the keeper.
21'
CHANCE! Coman dinks the ball through for Robben after a nice run, and the Dutch winger races into the box, but can only find the side-netting with his left-footed strike. That was a glimpse of what Bayern can do with their quality.
19'
Hamburg try and catch Bayern out with a low free-kick played through, but the delivery is far too soft and Bayern get the ball back.
17'
Coman showed nice quick feet to beat his man with a stepover on the right, before firing a low cross into the middle. The keeper is alert to the danger, though, and manages to keep hold of it.
14'
Hunt gives away a free-kick in his own half with a clumsy challenge. Bayern take it short and win another free-kick for a foul on Alaba.
13'
CHANCE! Robben dances in from the right and curls a low shot with his left foot towards the bottom left corner. However, it's blocked and Hamburg can breathe again.
11'
Vidal turns nicely in midfield to spark an attack, but the ball forward to Coman just takes a nick of a Hamburg defender and deflects back towards the goalkeeper, who collects it rather gratefully.
10'
Hamburg's wing-backs are regularly dropping in alongside their centre-backs in order to make a back five. The home side are taking no chances here.
7'
Hamburg loft a free-kick forward and as it comes back at them, the back three look a little isolated. But there's no urgency from Bayern and Hamburg can work it back to Mathenia and regroup with little difficulty.
5'
Bayern are knocking the ball around as you'd expect in these early stages, just feeling their way into the game. They seem calm for the moment and content to just ease themselves into this contest.
2'
Bayern make up territory early on, but give the ball away and Diekmeier tries to cross it in, but it's headed away. Ulreich is then called into a routine stop from a tame effort from outside the box.
1'
And we're off!
Hello and welcome to out LIVE coverage of the Bundesliga fixture between Hamburg and Bayern Munich at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg.
The lineups are out, so we'll begin with the home side.
Hamburg substitutes: Holtby, Walace, Pollersbeck, Waldschmidt, Kostic, Schipplock, Ito
Hamburg XI (3-4-2-1): Mathenia; Van Drongelen, Mavraj, Papadopoulos; Santos, Jung, Hunt, Diekmeier; Sakai, Hahn; Wood
Hamburg's wait for a win looks set to continue as they host Bayern Munich in Jupp Heynckes' fourth game in back in charge of the German giants. Hamburg won their opening two Bundesliga fixtures but have not won a game since, losing five of the six games that followed.
Bayern, however, after a disappointing start to the season under the recently-departed Carlo Ancelotti will look to put the pressure on current leaders Borussia Dortmund with what should be a routine win here. The last 10 Bundesliga matches between the two sides have produced 48 goals - 43 of which were scored by Bayern! The last time these two met in the league, the home side were soundly beaten in an 8-0 drubbing.
Hamburg, too have made changes. They name a far more defensive line-up than in their recent 3-2 defeat to Mainz, playing with three central defenders.
And Bayern have displayed their confidence by ringing the changes from their 3-0 Champions League victory over Celtic. Heynckes has made five alterations to that side, with Muller, Thiago, Rudy, Boateng, and Kimmich all dropping to the bench, while James, Vidal, Tolisso, Sule, and Rafinha, respectively, come in as their replacements.
And that's the first half done! Hamburg survive to half time with 10 men as Jung saw a somewhat harsh red for a cynical challenge on Coman as he looked to break quickly. It was just outside the centre-circle though, and, while it was from behind, it wasn't especially dangerous or malicious. The visitors had looked second-best up until the sending-off, with a couple of Robben chances the closest they got to breaking the deadlock. Hamburg won a succession of corners, but will now no doubt have to change their game-plan and do some damage-limitation in the second half. It's 0-0 at the break, but I doubt it'll stay that way come the final whistle!
And that's it! A Tolisso tap-in is enough to see Bayern go joint-top of the table - albeit behind on goal difference - as they see off 10 man Hamburg, who had Jung dismissed somewhat harshly at the end of the first half for scything down Coman. It wasn't a classic Bayern peformance, and Hamburg avoid a drubbing like the one they experienced last season, but the visitors claim an important three points. It finishes 1-0 Bayern!
