Ragnar Klavan replaces Mane for the final seconds...
SIDE NETTING! Aguero heads into the side netting from the free-kick and that might do it!
90' +3
J. Milner gets yellow.
Milner into the book here as he concedes a free-kick in a very dangerous area for De Bruyne to whip in a cross. This will be the chance for City, but first Liverpool will make a change...
90' +1
İ. Gündoğan has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by S. Agüero.
Aguero provides the assist.
CITY BACK WITHIN ONE! No way, could it really be? City looked dead in the water 10 minutes ago, and now they've set up a grandstand finish at Anfield as Liverpool have seemingly stopped playing! Gundogan is on the end of Aguero's pass to poke the ball home from close range, as Liverpool's lead shrinks again!
90'
Liverpool looking fairly comfortable in seeing this one out as the board goes up to indicate an additional four minutes of stoppage-time.
88'
A. Lallana enters the game and replaces Mohamed Salah.
Salah goes off to a deafening applause, replaced by Adam Lallana for the final minutes.
86'
Can City pull off the most improbably of comebacks? It certainly doesn't seem plausible, but then again, much of what City have done this season didn't before seem plausible. They're capable of scoring with anyone, but you have to wonder if this push has come a little too late?
84'
Bernardo Silva has scored a goal for Manchester City!
CITY PULL ONE BACK! Liverpool take their foot off the gas and they're punished. A deflected shot falls kindly for Bernardo Silva, who finishes coolly into the bottom corner. Liverpool not home free just yet...
81'
It's been a magical Sunday at Anfield. This venue has seen some terrific matches and Liverpool performances, and this one ranks right up there with some of the best of them. The Reds are being serenaded here through the final 15 minutes, and it's fully deserved.
79'
J. Milner enters the game and replaces E. Can.
Liverpool's first change sees James Milner come on to replace Can.

Description
78'
Only two teams have ever had a longer unbeaten Premier League run than Man City’s current streak of 30 without defeat – Arsenal (49 between 2003 and 2004) and Chelsea (40 between 2004 and 2005). City's dream of reaching that mark will be dead in a little over 10 minutes, barring a miracle.
76'
LOOK AT ROBERTSON GO! The left-back leading Liverpool's high press here! He puts Otamendi under all sorts of pressure and wins the ball back in the penalty area, but the referee calls for a foul. These supporters are loving every second of this!
74'
Before today, City looked unbeatable. Their path to an undefeated Premier League season looked more than plausible, the obstacles in their way shrinking by the week. That is the case no longer. They've been out-worked, out-classed and out-City'd today at Anfield as they're just over 15 minutes away from a first defeat of the campaign.
72'
Fernandinho gets yellow.
Fernandinho with a cynical foul to halt a break and he too goes into the book. That's three yellows in seven minutes for City.
71'
Bernardo Silva enters the game and replaces R. Sterling.
Sterling has been booed throughout today and it's really seemed to get to him. He's struggled to do much in attack and his match comes to an early end here, replaced by Bernardo Silva.
69'
R. Sterling gets yellow.
Frustration building for City, and Sterling goes into the book now.
68'
Mohamed Salah has scored a goal for Liverpool!
CITY RIPPED TO PIECES AT ANFIELD! It looked like it could only get worst for City, and now it has! Pure, unbridled joy for these Liverpool supporters as Salah widens their lead in stunning fashion, lobbing Ederson from 35 yards! Absolutely sensational!
67'
STAT: This is first time Manchester City have conceded three goals in a Premier League game in 364 days (L 4-0 at Everton).
65'
N. Otamendi gets yellow.
Otamendi beaten for pace and drags down Salah as a result, which sees him into the book.
63'
Rapid fire from Liverpool, as they go in search for more! They're proving an unstoppable force in attack, with the combination of Oxlade-Chamberlain, Salah and Mane causing the City defence nightmares! This could get worse for the leaders before it gets better...
61'
S. Mané has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by Mohamed Salah.
ALMOST ANOTHER STRAIGHT AWAY! Liverpool back on the front foot thanks to a careless giveaway from Fernandinho, but Mane smacks his effort off the frame of the goal from 20 yards! He could have played Salah through there as well...
Salah is credited with the assist.
LIVERPOOL RUNNING RIOT OVER THE LEADERS! No time to waste for the Reds as they have a thirst for goal that they're determined to quench! Seconds after hitting the post Mane is picked out in space again at the top of the penalty area, and he cannons a stunning strike into the top corner!
60'
Roberto Firmino gets yellow.
Firmino is booked for taking his shirt off in the celebration.
59'
Roberto Firmino has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by A. Oxlade-Chamberlain.
LIVERPOOL BACK IN FRONT! Well that's been coming, it must be said! The Reds are clinical in transition as they get back foot to front in a flash, Firmino simple out-muscling Stones to get on the end of Oxlade-Chamberlain's throughball, before chipping a delightful finish off the far post and in!
Oxlade-Chamberlain has an assist to go with his goal.
58'
Liverpool hitting their stride again! Mane does very weill to bring down a ball over the top, knocking it beyond a defender and into space for a shot, but his effort takes a big deflection, taking the sting out of it, as it bounces safely into the waiting arms of Ederson.
56'
CHAOS IN THE PENALTY AREA! Liverpool applying waves of pressure here as Ederson is forced into action time and time again! The keeper parries a corner, before making a terrific save to deny Salah, and then again at his near post to turn aside Oxlade-Chamberlain's effort. He's called upon again to cut out a cross from a set-piece, before having to turn Salah's effort over the bar! That's a busy 60 seconds for the keeper!
54'
STAT: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has scored as many goals in 20 Premier League appearances for Liverpool (three) than in his last 71 appearances for Arsenal.
52'
OFF THE BAR! Otamendi gets between Firmino and Matip to meet a corner, following some sumptuous counter-attacking play from City, but rattles his header off the crossbar with Karius beaten! Big let-off for Liverpool!
50'
Liverpool need to ger back to attacking down that right flank, something they have done little of since Danilo replaced Delph. They do so here, though, and find plenty of space for Gomez on the overlap, but his cross is cut out by Ederson.
48'
It's the league leaders who are asking the questions early in the second half, momentum swinging in their favour a bit following the end to that first half. City are still struggling to carve out chances, but they're looking much more eager here.
46'
City get this second half underway...
45' +2
HALF-TIME: LIVERPOOL 1-1 MANCHESTER CITY.
45'
There will be two minutes added on at the end of this first half.
44'
Liverpool respond well and show a bit of urgency in attack as they try and restore their lead before the interval, but the end product is lacking as City see away with the threat. Wonderfully poised at Anfield as we approach the interval.
42'
The air has been taken out of the stadium a bit, with City back on level terms despite Liverpool being in control through 40 minutes. Their defence had not been breached up to that point, but all it took was one piece of individual brilliance from Sane to undo all their hard work.
40'
L. Sané has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by K. Walker.
Walker provides the assist.
PARITY RESTORED AT ANFIELD! Sensational stuff from Leroy Sane! The winger produces a stunning first touch with his chest to get beyond Gomez, bringing down a ball from Walker, before bursting into the area, cutting onto his left beyond Matip, and driving a masterful finish into the tightest of spaces at the near post! Unbelievable!
39'
A bit selfish from Salah. Liverpool able to negotiate yet another opening in attack, but Salah tries his luck from over 20 yards on the end of it, instead of squaring for Can, as he bends an effort straight into the waiting arms of Ederson.
37'
STAT: Since Klopp took charge of Liverpool in October 2015, the Reds have won more points in Premier League games between the ‘big six’ than any other side (39). They also have more wins (9), fewer defeats (3) and more goals (40) than anyone else in these fixtures.
35'
Liverpool are looking far and ahead the more threatening side in possession, working CIty's defence every time they get the ball forward. Oxlade-Chamberlain has been terrific, and Mane has been lively out on the left - Klopp could really use a return to last season's form for Mane, especially following the sale of Coutinho.
33'
Well it's safe to say things have not gone according to plan thus far for City, who really seem to be suffering without David Silva, the Spaniard missing out tonight because of a stomach bug. They're lacking a bit of ingenuity in attack, just not quite ticking on in Silva's absence.
31'
Danilo enters the game and replaces F. Delph.
Delph did his best to keep going following the knock he picked up, but he's unable to do so, replaced here by Danilo.
29'
Bit of a wasted opportunity, that, for the Reds. They have bodies forward again, patiently and encouragingly working the ball around in the final third. They're working for an opening, and coming close to finding one, that is until Oxlade-Chamberlain over-hits his pass across for Firmino to relieve the pressure.
27'
STAT: Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 14 Premier League home games against Man City (W10 D4, since a 1-2 loss in May 2003), winning the last four in a row.
25'
HAD TO BE BETTER! Liverpool forward in numbers as they threaten for a second, but Robertson is unable to pick out a wide-open Mane with his pull-back! Play comes to a halt following the move, with Delph down in pain, the full-back hurting himself after putting in a challenge on Oxlade-Chamberlain.
23'
INCHES WIDE! Tidy bit of interplay from City down that right flank, as the ball is played into the centre for Sane. He picks his head up and tries a quick strike at goal from 20 yards, but his effort deflects narrowly wide of the near post with Karius rooted to his spot!
21'
Through 20 minutes and it has been an excellent watch thus far at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp will be thrilled with what he's seen thus far, his side a goal up and his keeper Loris Karius yet to be called into action.
19'
CLOSE! City respond here with a decent spell in attack, but Liverpool escape. Lovren does well to cut out a throughball for Sterling, but the threat isn't fully dealt with. De Bruyne gets into a good position on the right and flashes a terrific delivery across the face of goal, but it bends just inches away from Aguero, who slid in to try and meet it!
17'
STAT: Liverpool haven’t won four Premier League games in a row since December 2016 – the fourth game of which was a home win against Manchester City.
15'
RELENTLESS PRESSURE! Anfield is loving every second of this! First Mane surges forward to kick-start an attack, linking up excellently with Salah, whose cross just doesn't find a team-mate. Pressure stays on though and Salah is sent through one-on-one against Stones, but he misses at the near post despite some excellent trickery to open up space for the shot.
13'
Offside! Sterling isn't happy as the flag is raised, denying him clear passage through on goal. Frustration seems to be building for the ex-Liverpool attacker, who isn't receiving much love here from his former supporters.
11'
That opener has sparked Liverpool, who are full of running at the moment. They're looking sharp in possession, moving well off the ball in order to keep it, while organising themselves appropriately to frustrate City's attempts to work the ball forward.
9'
A. Oxlade-Chamberlain has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by Roberto Firmino.
ANFIELD SENT INTO RAPTURE! An outstanding bit of individual skill from Oxlade-Chamberlain who drives forward at the City defence and guides an inch-perfect strike beyond the reach of a full-stretch Ederson and into the bottom corner! The leaders have been dealt an early blow!
Firmino credited with the assist, but that was all in the confidence and quality of the strike from Oxlade-Chamberlain.
8'
STAT: Manchester City won the reverse fixture 5-0 back in September – they’ve not done the league double against Liverpool in over 80 years, since the 1936-37 campaign that saw them win the first of their four top-flight titles.
6'
City are starting to grow into the match, enjoying their first decent attacking spell, and it results in a chance. Liverpool carved apart too easily there as De Bruyne's incisive ball through finds its way to Sterling, but the winger loses his footing at the vital moment - ambitiously appealing for a penalty - as the chance goes begging.
4'
FIRST CHANCE! A long ball over the top is controlled by Firmino, who springs Mane. The Senegal international crosses paths with Salah atop the penalty area, who knocks the ball over to his left and had a go at goal, but Stones gets the block in.
3'
A deafening atmosphere greets the early minutes of this match at Anfield, as Liverpool start with a spring in their step. The hosts are enjoying plenty of possession, and have done well to press and win it back quickly when they give it away.
1'
AND THEY'RE OFF! Liverpool in all red as they get the match underway, attacking the Kop end, with Manchester City in sky blue.
Hello and welcome to Anfield for live coverage of this delectable Premier League clash as high-flying Liverpool welcome runaway leaders Manchester City to Merseyside!
The Premier League’s highest-scoring clubs – a combine 114 goals in 44 matches – do battle at Anfield today, Liverpool aiming to solidify themselves in the top four, and Manchester City hoping to widen their lead at the summit to a staggering 18 points.
No fixture is a given in the Premier League, but a realistic look at Manchester City’s schedule shows there are very few legitimate threats to their unbeaten record remaining – and this may be the toughest of them all.
For Liverpool this marks the start of the post-Philippe Coutinho era following the sale of the Brazilian to Barcelona, but even without his magic the Reds may be the only club in the Premier League who have the capability to beat City at their own game.
Anfield has not been kind to City in recent memory, but history can be thrown out the window this season given how well City are playing – and not that they need them, but reinforcements could still be on the way.
SUBS: Bravo, Danilo, Mangala, B. Silva, D. Silva, Zinchenko, Diaz.
MANCHESTER CITY (4-3-3): Ederson; Walker, Stones, Otamendi, Delph; De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Gundogan; Sterling, Sane, Aguero.
Jugen Klopp is without new recruit Virgil van Dijk, who has to hold off on making his Premier League debut for Liverpool as a result of a hamstring problem. Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip start in the centre of defence as a result, flanked by Joe Gomez and Andrew Robertson. Mo Salah returns after missing the last two matches with an injury, joining Roberto Firmino, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Sadio Mane in attack.
Pep Guardiola makes just one change from City's last Premier League match, a 2-1 victory over Watford all the way back at the start of the month. Ilkay Gundogan comes into the team, replacing David Silva. Gabriel Jesus remains injured, meaning Sergio Aguero leads the line again, and he will be flanked by Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling.
Two goals evenly split following a wildly entertaining first half at Anfield. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain made Liverpool's early pressure pay off as his excellent strike opened the score inside of 10 minutes, and it appeared destined to stay that way through 45 minutes until a piece of individual brilliance from Leroy Sane ensured the teams head level into the interval.
That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
Liverpool on the winning end of a seven-goal thriller at Anfield as Manchester City are dealt their first defeat of the Premier League campaign. Three goals in nine minutes from the Reds, scored by Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mo Salah, had the hosts running riot, but they were made to sweat it out in the end as a late push from the league leaders fell just short.
