87'
What a tackle! Liverpool surge forward through Mane but Choudhury emerges from nowhere with a strong sliding challenge to quell the danger.

Description
81'
A big chance for Liverpool now as Pereira fouls Salah right on the edge of the box, giving the Reds a glorious position to test Schmeichel from.
77'
A reminder that a win here for Liverpool sends them seven points clear at the top. If the Reds draw, their advantage extends to five. It would still be a commanding position but would certainly be considered to be a missed opportunity.
75'
H. Choudhury enters the game and replaces J. Maddison.
First change of the game for Leicester as Choudhury replaces Maddison.
74'
SAVE! Henderson's powerful cross goes all the way over the box to Firmino, who cuts inside and forces a sharp save from Schmeichel. Matip rises to meet the resulting corner but heads off target.
73'
An opportunity for Liverpool to create something as Mane is fouled by Ndidi and Henderson curls a cross into the middle but Leicester deal with the danger easily. The Foxes immediately hit on the counter but Gray can only fire a shot at goal that Alisson saves comfortably.
71'
The home fans are frantically trying to urge their side forward but it is simply not clicking. Their last attempt was from Salah in the 36th minute, which was blocked.
69'
Still more than enough time for Liverpool to secure a victory but they need to be more creative. They have not asked enough of Leicester's defence.
67'
Fabinho enters the game and replaces X. Shaqiri.
Liverpool's second change sees the introduction of Firmino, who takes the spot of Shaqiri.
66'
A. Lallana enters the game and replaces N. Keïta.
Confirmation of the double change for the home side, the first of which sees Keita replaced by Lallana.
65'
Keita lofts a free-kick into the middle and it is an easy collect for Schmeichel. Klopp has seen enough as Liverpool are preparing a double change.
63'
Every minute that passes is giving Leicester more and more confidence. It certainly feels like the game has at least one more goal in it.
61'
Leicester have everyone except from Vardy on defensive duty at the moment. The Foxes are standing firm at the back, while the home fans are becoming increasingly frustrated.
59'
Edging towards the hour mark and Liverpool have a crucial final half hour ahead of them. There is still plenty of time to go and a draw would not be the worst result but it would be a huge opportunity missed.
57'
Leicester have done brilliantly to quell Salah so far. The Premier League's leading scorer has barely had a sniff.
55'
Liverpool are looking very nervous in defence and Maguire is being given too much room to work with from set-piece situations.
52'
Nice play from Pereira as he tries to make room for himself on the right and he is halted by a foul from Keita, who is fortunate to avoid a yellow card. It gives Leicester a free-kick in a dangerous area.
50'
Ricardo Pereira gets yellow.
Pereira commits a clumsy challenge on Mane in midfield and has his name taken by the referee.
48'
Liverpool are dictating the tempo at the start of the second period but Leicester will be encouraged by the performance they showed during the latter stages of the first period.
46'
Liverpool get the action back underway for the second half.
45' +3
HALF-TIME: LIVERPOOL 1-1 LEICESTER CITY
Something from nothing for Leicester, who had given Alisson nothing to do. Chilwell's header dropped perfectly for Maguire and it is all square at Anfield.
45' +2
H. Maguire has scored a goal for Leicester City! Assist by B. Chilwell.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! 1-1! The blue side of Manchester will be celebrating along with Leicester! Maddison's free-kick is dealt with but it drops to Chilwell on the edge of the area and he heads the ball over the top of the defence to Maguire, who tucks past Alisson with ease.
45'
There will be one minute of additional time at the end of the first half.
41'
H. Maguire gets yellow.
Mane turns in midfield to pounce on a loose ball and is clipped from behind by Maguire, who earns a yellow card. The home fans believe it should have been a red card but it was too far from goal to be considered a clear goalscoring opportunity.
40'
Not long to go before the break and both sides will feel there is plenty of improvements they can make in the attacking third.
38'
Salah charges into the box and straight into Maguire, hitting the deck, and the home fans believe they should have had a penalty. There was absolutely no chance of that though.
37'
Still a one goal advantage for Liverpool, who do not need to take any risks to extend their lead, but they are certainly not in full flow.
35'
A second goal for Liverpool before the break would likely kill this tie as a contest so it is vital Leicester keep Klopp's side at bay. They are managing for now but the hosts still look dangerous on the break.
33'
A decent period in the game for Leicester, who have the hosts working hard in defence, but they are still lacking creativity and are yet to test Alisson.
31'
Leicester will be pleased with their response after falling behind early on as they have not allowed Liverpool to build up steam. However, the Foxes have failed to get going in attack.
27'
Not too much for Liverpool to shout about since taking the lead but Leicester have been equally flat in the final third.
24'
Leicester look to have made a tactical tweak to their attack as Gray is now playing on the left, up against unorthodox full-back Henderson, with Albrighton moving to the right.
22'
Liverpool are patiently trying to find a gap in Leicester's defence but the visitors have shut up shop since Mane's opening goal.
20'
The slippy surface is not doing much favours for Liverpool's attacking play and they must be wondering what use their recent warm weather training trip to Dubai was with snow on the field at Anfield.
18'
Leicester are starting to see more of the ball but Liverpool's defence is standing firm. However, Matip will need to be careful after picking up that booking.
16'
J. Matip gets yellow.
The first yellow card of the game is issued for Matip after he fouls Vardy in midfield, giving the referee no choice.
13'
The tempo has died down a little bit at Anfield, with the noise level decreasing, but Leicester are still struggling to get the ball out of their own half.
11'
Leicester named a side that has the ability to cause Liverpool problems but they have barely had any time on the ball in the opening exchanges.
7'
Another chance for Liverpool from the resulting corner as Mane rises to meet the cross but his header is off target.
5'
Manchester City took an early lead yesterday so this game is by no means over but it has sparked Anfield into life. Not that it needed a spark, as the fans were up for this from the start. The Reds are in the mood.
3'
S. Mané has scored a goal for Liverpool!
GOOOOOOOOOOAL! 1-0 Liverpool! Just the start the hosts wanted! Mane links up with Robertson and Firmino before taking a superb touch away from Gray, drilling a low effort into the corner of the net that gives Schmeichel no hope.
1'
We are underway at Anfield.

Manchester City's shock defeat to Newcastle United yesterday saw Pep Guardiola's side miss the chance to pull just one point behind Liverpool, which in turn means the Reds can open up a seven-point advantage with a win. Meanwhile, a win for Leicester would see the Foxes rise to eighth and would help reduce the pressure upon Claude Puel's shoulders.
An entertaining first half saw Liverpool take the lead through Mane early on but Maguire's equaliser just before the interval threw a spanner in the works. The home fans are furious, they will argue the Leicester defender should have been sent off, but it was far too far from goal for a red to be shown.
Liverpool now have work to do in the second half and they will be furious for conceding so late. It gives Leicester something to build upon though and it will be interesting to see how the Foxes approach the remainder of the match.
Thanks for joining our coverage today. Until next time, goodbye.
There are now 14 games to go in the Premier League season and Liverpool face another big game on Monday against West Ham. Leicester, meanwhile, will look to build on another fantastic away performance when they host Manchester United on Sunday.
