Fiorentina are 11th in the table and suffered a 2-1 defeat against Juventus at the weekend, which therefore saw the Bianconeri clinch their eighth successive Serie A title.
Atalanta come into the game in better form, having beaten Napoli 2-1 on Monday to move into fifth position in Serie A and they are now unbeaten in their last eight league games and are only below AC Milan in the final Champions League spot on goal difference.
