N. Sansone gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
More drama right on the final whistle! Dijks has received a straight red card. It seems to be for complaining to the referee.
Now Bologna are down to 10! Sansone reacted badly to a challenge by Kessie, and the referee has again brandished a red card.
90' +5
F. Kessié gets yellow.
For his part in that, Kessie has received a booking.
Milan are simply keeping the ball as high up the field as they can now, with time running out.
90' +1
There will be five minutes of added time.
90'
Milan are under pressure, having conceded a corner. Bologna take it short, but Piatek does well to get himself between the ball and Lyanco, drawing a foul.
88'
Bologna’s attempts are becoming more and more erratic now, as Palacio tries his luck from the edge of the box. His effort has far too much power on it, though, and flies well wide.
86'
F. Santander enters the game and replaces A. Poli.
A final Bologna change sees Poli make way for Santander.
Since Paqueta’s red, Milan have done well to keep hold of the ball when possible, slowing the play down and preventing Bologna getting any rhythm to their play. Castillejo looks to be dropping into midfield, looking to drive forward if the opportunity arises.
82'
Destro wants a penalty, claiming he was held by Zapata as he tried to control a pass from Pulgar, but the referee is having none of it.
80'
S. Edera enters the game and replaces R. Orsolini.
Another Bologna change sees Orsolini - who missed a great chance early on - make way for Edera.
79'
Samu Castillejo enters the game and replaces Suso.
In response to losing Paqueta, Gattuso has made a change, though it is not a defensive one as such. Suso looked leggy, having put in a big shift, and Castillejo has now been introduced to add some more pace and energy up top.

Description
77'
So, having been in complete control a few minutes ago, Milan must now see out the final stages of this match with a numerical disadvantage.
75'
E. Pulgar gets yellow.
Pulgar was the Bologna player who committed the initial foul on Paqueta, and he has received a caution.
74'
Lucas Paquetá gets yellow.
Lucas Paquetá goes off after a red card!
RED CARD! PAQUETA IS SENT OFF! Well, it goes from bad to worse for Milan. The midfielder was tackled hard from behind, and reacted by shoving Pulgar. Paqueta initially received a booking for the action but then slapped the official's arm and a red card was brandished.
72'
M. Destro has scored a goal for Bologna! Assist by N. Sansone.
Milan’s defending left a lot to be desired, but it was still an excellent move by Bologna. Sansone provided the quality with a delicate lob into Destro, who applied the finish.
GOAL! DESTRO PULLS ONE BACK. It's 2-1. Well, out of nowhere, Bologna are right back in this, and it’s the former Milan striker who has got the goal. The hosts’ defence completely switched off, allowing Sansone to float in a pass which Destro took down brilliantly before slotting beyond Donnarumma.
71'
Since Destro’s introduction, Bologna seem to have switched to more of a 4-4-1-1 shape, and that has allowed mIlan to assert their authority in midfield. Mauri has looked particularly sharp, playing neat, simple passes to keep play ticking over.
69'
Well, barring a fight back from Bologna, Milan look to be stumbling their way towards a win here, and three points that would put them right back in the race for Champions League qualification.
67'
F. Borini has scored a goal for AC Milan!
GOAL! BORINI MAKES IT 2-0! Well, all he’d done in his previous five minutes on the field was win a foul, but with one of his first touches, the former Liverpool forward could well have put the contest to bed. With Paqueta’s shot deflecting up and making Skorupski’s save a difficult one, the ball fell loose, and Borini was on hand to tuck home the rebound.
65'
A. Calabresi gets yellow.
Borini's first involvement of note has been to win a foul, with Calabresi receiving a booking in the process. There hasn't been much football played in the last five minutes or so...
63'
M. Destro enters the game and replaces M. Svanberg.
A first Bologna change sees former Milan striker Destro, who spent time on loan at San Siro in 2015, come on in place of Svanberg.
61'
F. Borini enters the game and replaces H. Çalhanoğlu.
Another Milan change is needed now, with Calhanoglu unable to carry on after going down. He is replaced by Borini.
59'
After Bologna started the second half on the front foot, Milan have now gained more of a foothold, though the visitors have just shaded the possession stats in the last five minutes or so.
57'
N. Sansone gets yellow.
Sansone becomes the second Bologna player to go into the book, having clattered into Mauri. Moments earlier, a sweeping Milan counter released Calhanoglu, but his shot was blocked.
50'
Bologna are enjoying a steady spell of possession, with Milan looking to hassle them, but not really succeeding in pushing their opponents back.
48'
Bolgona concede possession with a lot of men committed forward, and Mauri looks to exploit that by switching the play. However, Suso had dropped infield, meaning the Spain international had to turn back on himself, and Dijks easily deals with the danger.
46'
Back up and running for the second half! It is 1-0 to Milan, thanks to Suso's goal.
45' +2
HALF-TIME: AC MILAN 1-0 BOLOGNA.
45' +1
Mauri looks to make his mark by trying his luck from range, but drags his effort horridly wide as we enter two minutes of added time.
44'
A. Poli gets yellow.
Moments later, Poli becomes the first player to pick up a booking, having brought down Piatek.
43'
More atrocious Milan defending allows Bologna captain Poli to get a shot off. Fortunately for the hosts, Zapata manages to get something on it, and the ball floats harmlessly towards Donnarumma, who then proceeds to lambast his team-mates for their sloppiness.
40'
To Milan’s credit, it appears that they know just how poor they have been at the back, and are now trying to use the momentum given to them by Suso’s opener to put this game to bed. Calhanoglu drops deep and spins clear of his marker, sending a long, raking pass down field in search of Kessie, who wins a corner.
38'
That goal had certainly not been coming, and it is not deserved, but Milan now have their lead. However, given their shaky defending so far, you would not bet against Bologna scoring.
37'
Suso has scored a goal for AC Milan!
GOAL! SUSO PUTS MILAN 1-0 UP! Well, maybe that was a bit of genius by Kessie after all. From the throw-in, Milan pinned Bologna back, and the ball was recycled out wide before a threaded pass deflected into Suso's path. He managed to squeeze his way through a crowd of defenders, before planting a firm finish across Bologna's goalkeeper and into the bottom-right corner.
36'
Milan have now resulted to long balls over the top of Bologna’s defence to try and pin the away side back. That tactic sees them win a throw high upfield, only for Kessie to hand possession back to Bologna by performing a foul throw, much to Gattuso’s chagrin.
34'
If matters weren’t bad enough for Gattuso - whose days at Milan seem to be numbered - it now appears that his players aren’t making life any easier. It seems that Bakayoko had indeed been set to come on for Biglia, but instructed his coach that he was not ready when the change needed to be made, so Mauri was introduced instead.
30'
Sloppy again! A loose ball falls to Sansone, who does not hesitate in getting a shot off. His effort was goalbound, but cannoned away off Abate.
28'
Milan’s defending really has been shambolic so far, with Zapata and Musacchio pushing far too high, allowing plenty of space for Palacio to exploit. Rodriguez and Abate, meanwhile, have all but abandoned any discipline, and are instead venturing forward without keeping an eye on their man. It really is abysmal from Gattuso’s side.
26'
J. Mauri enters the game and replaces L. Biglia.
Well, Biglia cannot continue. He went down in a heap as soon as the ball went out play, and now he has had to make way, and is visibly upset as he makes his way towards the tunnel. Mauri, not Bakayoko, is his replacement.
19'
Another chance for Bologna, and another big intervention from Donnarumma! Again, Milan are exposed down the flanks, with Palacio easily getting past Abate, who looked like he was running through mud, such was his lack of urgency. The visiting forward tried to square it to a team-mate, but Donnarumma dived in and got there first.
17'
Bologna’s corner comes to nothing, with Donnarumma able to collect a loose ball under his bar. He swiftly looks to get Milan upfield, releasing Paqueta with a long throw, and the Brazil international cleverly holds up the play before drawing a foul.
16'
Some big opportunities for both sides in the last few minutes, but none have been taken. Bologna are enjoying a sustained spell of pressure now, though, and have won a second corner in quick succession. Milan's defence looks far from solid.
9'
Risky play from Milan, as Donnarumma plays a rather underhit pass out to Paqueta, who is only able to scoop the ball up in the air and back in the general direction of his goalkeeper, who makes a better go of the clearance on his second attempt.
7'
A patient Milan move results in Rodriguez getting forward down the left and picking up possession around 25 yards out. He picks his head up and looks to float in a cross, but somehow manages to generate far too much power on it and send the ball soaring well over the goal and into the crowd. Dreadful.
3'
A staggered start here, with a few fouls from both sides preventing either of them getting their foot on the ball and setting any sort of tempo.

KICK-OFF. We are up and running at San Siro!
Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage of today's Serie A clash between AC Milan and Bologna. Stick right here for all the action as it happens from San Siro!
Bologna sit 15th, though there is still a chance they could be dragged into a real relegation scrap, given they are just five points clear of 18th-place Empoli. Milan should fancy their chances, but having won just one of their last seven league outings, are in torrid form, while the visitors have won six of their last eight games.
AC MILAN (4-3-3): Gianluigi Donnarumma; Ignazio Abate, Cristian Zapata, Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez; Lucas Paqueta, Lucas Biglia, Franck Kessie; Suso, Krzysztof Piatek, Hakan Calhanoglu.
BOLOGNA SUBS: Federico Santander, Godfred Donsah, Ladislav Krejci, Filip Helander, Blerim Dzemaili, Gabriele Corbo, Diego Falcinelli, Angelo Da Costa, Antonio Santurro, Simone Edera, Nehuen Paz, Mattia Destro.
AC MILAN SUBS: Jose Mauri, Diego Laxalt, Antonio Donnarumma, Samu Castillejo, Fabio Borini, Patrick Cutrone, Andrea Conti, Pepe Reina, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Andrea Bertolacci.
The teams are in the tunnel, and we are almost reeady for kick-off!
After losing to Torino last time out, Milan have ground to make up in the race for Champions League qualification. Atalanta currently occupy fourth place, and are six points clear of Rino Gattuso's side as it stands.
Gattuso will surely be demanding more from his team in the second half, and must find a way of making his defence more organised. Bologna have played well without much reward, though if they get at this Milan back line more often, they will surely find some joy.
Milan are now well in the hunt for the Champions League places, and trail Atalanta by just three points. Bologna, meanwhile, remain 15th, despite a valiant effort today. However, they will now be missing two key players for the run-in.
That’s all we’ve got time for today. Thanks for tuning in!
