Gnabry gets the game underway for Germany!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Euro 2020 qualifier between Germany and Estonia at the Opel Arena!
Germany have won both of their European Championship qualifiers so far after beating Netherlands and Belarus and currently sit second in Group C, but they do have a game in hand over the leaders Northern Ireland. They are still without their manager Joachim Low today though as he was recently hospitalised. Estonia are in a very different position at the start of this match. They sit in fourth, having lost to Northern Ireland in both of their qualifiers in the campaign so far and they know that they need to start getting results soon if they want to qualify for the Euros for the first time in their history.
GERMANY STARTING XI (4-2-3-1): Manuel Neuer; Thilo Kehrer, Matthias Ginter, Niklas Sule, Nico Schulz; Joshua Kimmich, Ilkay Gundogan; Marco Reus, Leon Goretzka, Leroy Sane; Serge Gnabry.
GERMANY SUBS: Sven Ulreich, Jonathan Tah, Kai Havertz, Julian Brandt, Timo Werner, Marcel Halstenberg, Jonas Hector, Lukas Klostermann, Julian Draxler, Niklas Stark, Kevin Trapp.
ESTONIA SUBS: Henrik Ojamaa, Mihkel Aksalu, Ken Kallaste, Mattias Kait, Vlasiy Sinyavskiy, Martin Miller, Mark Oliver Roosnupp, Rauno Sappinen, Vladislav Kreida, Erik Sorga, Marten Kuusk.
The teams are out on the field now, with kick-off just moments away.
ESTONIA STARTING XI (5-4-1): Sergei Lepmets; Gert Kams, Madis Vihmann, Taijo Teniste, Karol Mets, Artur Pikk; Sander Puri, Artjom Dmitrijev, Joonas Tamm, Konstantin Vassiljev; Sergei Zenjov.
Sorg will be very impressed with his side as they completely dominated the first half and it's a question of how many goals Germany will score in this match now. He will be hoping for more of the same when they come out after the break. For Estonia, it's a matter of pride now, and they won't want to concede any more in the second half. If they can keep the ball better when they win back possession then that will help them to ease the pressure that Germany have been piling onto them since the start of the game.
Germany remain second in Group C despite that win due to Northern Ireland's victory over Belarus, but they easily have the superior goal difference as well as a game in hand. They will face the group leaders in their next qualifier in September. Estonia now drop to the bottom of the table due to their inferior goal difference and they will be hoping to put this result behind them when they start their preparation for their next match against Belarus.
