The away side had plenty of territory around Verona's box, but failed to create any openings. Suso, perhaps, offers the key to breaking the deadlock, though. Verona have afforded him plenty of time and space when he's drifted inside onto his stronger foot, and he's looked like Milan's best hope going forward.
Ultimately, Milan will be delighted to have made it two wins from two after a poor defeat to Udinese at the start of the season. Verona, meanwhile, can take a lot of positives - a newly promoted side running Milan so close bodes well for the future.
