Hello and welcome to live match coverage of the LaLiga fixture between Real Mallorca and Atletico Madrid at Son Moix.
REAL MALLORCA SUBS: Fabri, Fran Gamez, Marc Pedraza, Aleix Febas, Aleksandar Trajkovski, Abdon Prats, Alex Alegria.
ATLETICO MADRID SUBS: Antonio Adan, Mario Hermoso, Kieran Trippier, Marcos Llorente, Hector Herrera, Angel Correa, Alvaro Morata.
The teams are out, and kick-off will soon be upon us here at Son Moix.
After starting the campaign with a home win over Eibar on the opening day, the hosts have not won any of their last four fixtures. Mallorca are yet to keep a clean sheet and currently sit 17th in the table. The visitors, meanwhile, have dropped to seventh in the league after failing to win either of their previous two LaLiga matches against Celta Vigo and Real Sociedad. A win over their hosts, however, could see Simeone’s side move into the top four.
Atletico will be pleased with their first-half display and will look to continue in much the same fashion after the restart. The away side have caused Mallorca real problems down either flank and both full-backs will be vital if Simeone’s side are to extend their lead in the second half. Mallorca, meanwhile, will look to get Kubo on the ball more regularly when the action resumes. The youngster has looked lively and looks the most likely to make something happen.
Mallorca travel to Alaves in their next fixture as they look to end a run of six games without a win. Atletico, meanwhile, will be full of confidence going into their derby clash with Real Madrid next time out at Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
That brings an end to our coverage of the LaLiga fixture between Real Mallorca and Atletico Madrid at Son Moix. Thank you very much for joining us. Goodbye!
