Bayern also make a change in midfield, with Thiago coming in for Martinez.

Description
80'
K. Demirbay enters the game and replaces C. Aránguiz.
Aranguiz picked up a knock and will not be able to finish the match. Amiri is his replacement.
78'
Bayern Munich are coming forward again, trapping Leverkusen inside their half as they press for a second equaliser of the day. The visitors may be seeing little of the ball, but that fits well with their ability to counter-attack at pace.
74'
Bayern Munich have six players across the Leverkusen penalty area, but Diaby nips in and steals possession before bringing it the whole way up the pitch. The quick counter-attack ends in disappointment as Bellarabi’s shot from the right corner of the penalty area sails high and wide of the target.
69'
Philippe Coutinho enters the game and replaces T. Müller.
K. Coman enters the game and replaces I. Perišić.
Flick makes his first change of the match with 20 minutes remaining, sending Coutinho on in place of Muller.
Coman’s pace will be an asset as legs grow tired. He’s on for Perisic.
67'
Martinez steps across Volland and blocks the cross from Bellarabi on the right-hand side, putting it out for a corner.
65'
D. Sinkgraven enters the game and replaces Wendell.
Bosz makes a second change in two minutes as Wendell is replaced at left-back by Sinkgraven.
63'
K. Bellarabi enters the game and replaces L. Bailey.
Confirmation of the enforced change as Bailey limps off, unable to shake off the earlier injury. Bellarabi is his replacement with 27 minutes left in the fixture.
62'
Play is stopped as Bailey is down for the second time in two minutes after seemingly pulling up following a challenge from Goretzka in midfield. The striker has had a phenomenal match today, and Bosz will be quite frustrated should he be forced to replace him.
56'
Bayern have lacked a steel in front of goal today as they’ve squandered a number of chances. Wendell and Lars Bender have both had goal-saving tackles, while the base of the post saved Hradecky on another occasion. They’re going to have to reverse this misfortune if they’re going to win.
52'
Bayern are under considerable pressure as Leverkusen have no doubt emerged from the half-time interval the better side. It’s a continuation of proceedings in the first half; it shouldn’t be long until Flick starts making adjustments to the XI.
46'
Bayern Munich get the match restarted from the kick-off!
45' +2
HALF-TIME: BAYERN MUNICH 1-2 BAYER LEVERKUSEN.
45' +1
The fourth official indicates two additional minutes for stoppages.
42'
J. Baumgartlinger gets yellow.
An awful sliding challenge in midfield by Baumgartlinger on Alaba earns the Leverkusen player a yellow card.
37'
Bailey has been absolutely unstoppable today, with his last strike leaving Martinez on the pitch - head in his hands. The right side of Bayern’s defence are simply unequipped to handle the pure energy of the forward.
35'
L. Bailey has scored a goal for Bayer Leverkusen! Assist by K. Volland.
LEVERKUSEN RETAKE THE LEAD! INSTANTANEOUS AGAIN! Tah clears a low cross from inside his penalty area, sending the ball straight up the field for Volland. He notices Bailey getting free from his marker on the left, and pushes it forward for the striker, who gets on the end of it and again beats Neuer with a thunderous hit!
Bailey’s second goal comes from another Volland assist; another perfectly weighted throughball for the rapid forward.
34'
T. Müller has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by L. Goretzka.
It’s Goretzka’s assist for the goal as his prodded ball forward allowed Muller to attack it.
A GOAL FOR BAYERN OUT OF NOWHERE! Bayer Leverkusen take the throw-in, but sloppiness on the ball and a bad pass from Lars Bender allow Bayern Munich to get it forward, where Muller turns a defender after an awkward bounce and lashes the ball past Hradecky from just outside the area!
31'
Alaba hits a switch to the left for Gnabry, looking to spark something going forward, but the right-winger is out of options as the ball is put out for a throw-in to Leverkusen.
29'
Bailey gets on the end of a throughball, beating Pavard for pace, but his square pass for Diaby allows the Bayern defence enough time to get back and crowd out possession.
22'
PERISIC OFF THE WOODWORK BUT HE’S OFFSIDE! The Croatia international was played through on goal after Bayer’s high line was exposed by a Lewandowski pass - but the winger strikes the frame of the goal, only to be further denied by the linesman’s flag.
16'
Martinez floats an early cross into the penalty area from midfield, but Perisic able to do little more than pop it over the crossbar with a weak header.
14'
Diaby gets on the end of a loose ball on the right wing and cuts all the way inside to have a shot from the edge of the penalty area, but his weak left-foot curler dribbles into the arms of Neuer.
12'
Bayern Munich have been made to pay for their missed chance as they concede their first goal under the reign of Flick. With over 75 minutes remaining though, they’ll have more than enough time to settle into the match and get one back.
10'
L. Bailey has scored a goal for Bayer Leverkusen! Assist by K. Volland.
Volland's assist is a beautifully weighted throughball, hit perfectly for Bailey to take in-stride.
DOWN AT THE OTHER END AT IT’S 1-0 LEVERKUSEN! Moments after Munich looked to be up 1-0, they are made to pay as Davies gives the ball up in midfield far too easily, which allows Volland to get in possession around the centre-circle. He slips a leading pass through for Bailey, who uses his pace to get on the end of it before firing it home!
7'
Goretzka swings the curling free-kick to the far post, but Martinez’s awkward header sends the ball looping over the target.
6'
Davies bursts forward once again and goes clear past the Leverkusen defence. Sven Bender comes across right on the edge of the penalty area and barges the left-back over - giving Bayern Munich a free-kick in a dangerous position.
5'
Bayern are looking lively as Davies bombs forward, overlapping the run of Perisic, who is always likely to cut inside. The eventual delivery from the left-back is blocked well, but it’s an early warning sign for the visitors.
3'
Leverkusen are now allowing Bayern any time on the ball as Gnabry gives it away in midfield. Wendell’s over-eager press gets his side in trouble though as he gives away a cheap free-kick.

BAYERN MUNICH XI (4-3-3): Manuel Neuer; Alphonso Davies, David Alaba, Javi Martinez, Benjamin Pavard; Thomas Muller, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka; Ivan Perisic, Robert Lewandowski, Serge Gnabry.
With 15 minutes to go before kick-off, let's take a look at the team news, starting with the hosts!
Bayern Munich welcome Bayer Leverkusen to the Allianz Arena, in search of their fifth consecutive victory since the dismissal of Niko Kovac and subsequent appointment of Hansi Flick. With four wins and an aggregate score in that time of 16-0, the Bavarian side have shown real promise after a slight malaise, and could end the day joint-top with Leipzig should they win again.
Ninth-place Leverkusen are charged with halting Bayern Munich’s progress up the table, though they’ve not had much success of doing so recently. A win in February of last year aside, the club now coached by Peter Bosz haven’t earned three points against Bayern since 2015. It will be one of Leverkusen’s most challenging fixtures of the season, but with the likes of Leon Bailey and Kevin Volland in the squad, goals are always likely.
If Bayern are to take all three points, Lewandowski needs to make his presence felt on a larger scale. The striker has been a passenger today, with most of the attacking coming down the flanks with Perisic and Gnabry. Flick has a wealth of options on the bench with the likes of Coutinho and Coman to change the game, but the entrance of Havertz for Leverkusen could really punish Bayern Munich who will have to overcommit if they continue to look for an equaliser late into the game.
That concludes our Bundesliga commentary of the fixture between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen. We hope you enjoyed it!
Bayern Munich are in action again next Saturday against Borussia Monchengladbach, while Leverkusen will look to make it three wins in a row on the same day when they host Schalke.
