Femenia is booked after he drags Zaha down to the ground as the winger beat him and then was free to sprint into the box. Zaha is furious with the challenge.

Third and final Palace substitution, with Kouyate coming off the pitch and he has been replaced by McCarthy.

73'
C. Benteke enters the game and replaces A. Townsend.
Palace make their second substitution of the game, with Townsend coming off and he has been replaced by Benteke.
72'
J. Tomkins gets yellow.
Tomkins is booked for his deliberate foul on Deulofeu as he looked to break away on the counter. Doucoure sprinted forward from the edge of the defensive third, playing it to Deulofeu, who beat the Palace centre-back, who had no choice but to foul him.
70'
Now it's Watford's turn to press forward and they are starting to play more direct football, with Sarr running at the Palace defence. Surely it won't be long before we see some more changes here.
68'
We're midway through the second half now and it's still goalless at Vicarage Road and there haven't been many chances to break the deadlock. Still very scrappy.
66'
Femenia and Sarr link up well down the right wing and force a corner, but Kabasele fouls his marker and the referee awards Palace a free-kick. Wasted opportunity.
64'
Decent chance! McArthur finds loads of space inside the penalty area, after a lovely ball through two Watford defenders by Zaha, but the midfielder skies his shot high over the crossbar.
60'
Still no signs of any imminent Watford changes, despite there being a lack of final third action by the home side. It's all in the middle of the pitch.
58'
There are a few groans going around Vicarage Road now, as the home team struggle to create anything and a few passes are going awry.
56'
Palace are just starting to edge the game now, keeping the ball much better and are getting into the final third more frequently.
54'
Palace corner now, as they break forward on the counter and Townsend gets the ball into the box, but it's well blocked out of play by Kabasele. The set piece comes to nothing.
50'
Guaita has to be careful as Riedewald heads the ball back to him, but he only just gets enough pace on it and the keeper has to sprint out and gather, just getting to the ball before Deeney.
48'
The second half has started quite scrappy, just as the first half finished, with both teams struggling to get on the ball and keep possession.
46'
J. Riedewald enters the game and replaces J. Schlupp.
Palace have made a substitution ahead of the second half, with Schlupp replaced by Riedewald.
The second half is under way!
45' +1
HALF-TIME: WATFORD 0-0 CRYSTAL PALACE
45'
There will be a minimum of one minute added timed played at the end of the half.
42'
There's just a couple of minutes remaining before the end of the first half now, can either side break the deadlock before the half-time whistle?
40'
C. Cathcart gets yellow.
Another booking! Cathcart dives into a tackle with Milivojevic and the centre-back actually wins the ball and Milivojevic is late coming in, but it's a high and wild tackle, which is why a free-kick and yellow card has been shown.
38'
W. Zaha gets yellow.
Zaha needs to be careful here, he is arguing every decision and is diving into a few tackles. The winger is booked after he clatters into Kabasele after trying to win the ball back on the edge of the box.
36'
There is a cracking atmosphere inside Vicarage Road, with the traveling supporters making their voices heard and the home fans will be pleased with their sides performance so far.
34'
A. Doucouré gets yellow.
The first yellow card of the game is shown to Doucoure after a poor foul on Ayew, no complaints from the Watford man.
32'
Zaha is furious that a decision is given against him and reacts angrily with Capoue, before a couple of others players pile in and they have to be separated. No yellow cards are given.
30'
There is a big lack of quality in the final third for both teams, they are getting numbers forward and into decent positions, but haven't yet tested the opposition goalkeeper.
28'
Deulofeu goes for goal from a free-kick at a tight angle, he whips it into the box, but it's well cut out by Benteke. Deulofeu should've been crossing that into the penalty area for a team-mate.
25'
Into the wall! Pereyra steps up to take a free-kick, it's 20 yards out and fairly central, but he drills it straight into the strong Palace wall and the visitors then clear the danger.
24'
Free-kick to Watford in a very good shooting position after McArthur clatters into the back of Deeney, just as the striker goes to fire a shot towards goal. It seems to be a harsh one, with both players running into each other
23'
There hasn't been an awful lot of quality on show so far, with a few too many sloppy passes by both teams and the game isn't really flowing. Watford just edging proceedings.
21'
Zaha hasn't been able to get on the ball too much for Palace so far, as the hosts struggle to keep the ball and Watford are defending well.
19'
Watford have been the stronger side in possession so far, they are keeping the ball well in midfield and linking up with Deeney, who is getting some joy against the Palace centre-backs.
15'
Sarr has looked the most dangerous player on the pitch so far, he is using his pace to great effect to beat the Palace defenders and is getting plenty of crosses into the box towards Deeney.
9'
Decent effort! The ball falls perfectly to McArthur just inside the Watford penalty area and he doesn't have any defenders near him, so goes for goal with a shot on the volley. However, it flies well wide of Foster's goal. He had time to bring that down and take a touch.
7'
Good move! Capoue gets forward down the right wing for Watford and manages to get a cross into the penalty area towards Deeney, but he gets his shot all wrong and the ball gets caught between him and Tomkins, before rolling out of play for a goal-kick.
5'
Palace are camped inside the Watford half of the pitch at the moment, with Kelly getting forward down the right from the full-back position. However, the can't work the ball down the wing and it has to be played backwards.
3'
Decent start here by Watford, with Deeney looking lively up front for the hosts and they look keen to push and score an early goal, to calm any nerves.
