Gnabry is replaced by Dajaku immediately after scoring the goal that puts his side up by two.
89'
S. Gnabry has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by R. Lewandowski.
BAYERN DOUBLE THEIR ADVANTAGE! 2-0 TO THE HOSTS! Lewandowski hits a powerful long ball over the top of the Wolfsburg defence, which Gnabry latches onto and dispatches into the net from inside the penalty area without any pressure from a defender! The visitors have fallen over at the final hurdle!
Lewandowski finally makes his presence felt, though not in a traditional way as he turns provider for Gnabry's goal - with a well-hit ball over the top.
87'
Otavio takes a big throw-in, hoping to get it inside the penalty area, but the referee gives Bayern Munich the ball as the substitute didn’t have both feet on the ground during the throw! Incredibly sloppy from the side who are chasing a goal!
85'
J. Zirkzee has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by T. Müller.
ZIRKZEE’S DONE IT AGAIN! UNBELIEVABLE! It’s TWO IN TWO FOR THE SUPER-SUB! Zirzkee gets onto the ball and shifts it to the right for Muller, who puts a low cross into the penalty area. The delivery ends up as a return-pass to the substitute, who can't help himself as he curls his first-time effort into the bottom corner of the goal from the penalty spot! 1-0 BAYERN!
Muller’s cross is the assist for Bayern Munich’s go-ahead goal!
83'
J. Zirkzee enters the game and replaces Philippe Coutinho.
Coutinho is taken off with seven minutes remaining, as Zirkzee is brought on for his second Bundesliga appearance - looking to make it two goals in two games.
77'
W. Weghorst enters the game and replaces F. Klaus.
Klaus’s work is done for the day, as Weghorst comes on to lead the line.
76'
T. Müller gets yellow.
Muller is booked for his challenge on Gerhardt in midfield.
73'
Wolfsburg are keeping possession, but not doing much with it as they look starved of creativity. Muller nips in to win the ball back and flies down the wing on a counter-attack, but Kimmich’s eventual shot from the edge of the 18 drifts disappointingly wide, and out for a goal-kick.
71'
M. Arnold gets yellow.
Arnold is booked for bringing Lewandowski down after a number of niggling challenges on the striker’s ankle.
Minute
Description
69'
Pavard is bleeding profusely from his nose and is told by the referee to go off the pitch in order to tend to the injury following the Otavio challenge. Bayern are playing with 10 men temporarily, with just over 20 minutes remaining.
67'
Paulo Otávio enters the game and replaces R. Steffen.
Paulo Otávio gets yellow.
Otavio replaces Steffen in Wolfsburg’s second change of the match.
Less than a minute after coming on, Otavio is booked for catching Pavard in the face. The substitute looked to turn around and flick the ball on for a team-mate, but he was unaware of his surroundings and booted the opposing defender instead. It’s not intentional - but it is reckless and deserving of a card.
64'
Gnabry puts a cross inside the six-yard box, but Roussillon is there to hammer it away - putting it behind for a corner. The set-piece comes into the box but it fails to trouble Casteels, who comes off his line to pluck it out of the air.
61'
Steffen makes a run into the penalty area behind the back of Boateng, but the service from Gerhardt on the right is poor, as it invites Neuer off his line to make the save.
59'
Mbabu bursts forward after a break down in play in Bayern Munich’s midfield, but the electric full-back is halted just before reaching the penalty area thanks to a great intervention from Pavard.
57'
Y. Gerhardt enters the game and replaces X. Schlager.
Wolfsburg's first switch sees Schlager depart with Gerhardt coming on in his place.
53'
Arnold takes a corner-kick from the right into the Bayern penalty area searching for Brooks, but Boateng gets in the middle of the action with a defensive header to clear the area.
51'
Schlager races to keep the ball in play on the byline after Klaus ran into the back of Boateng - which he does successfully. The midfielder cuts inside and hits a low shot between the legs of the aforementioned Bayern defender, though it’s tame and easy for Neuer to save.
49'
Even worse for Bayern Munich, the booking for Kimmich means that he will be unable to feature in their first Bundesliga fixture after the resumption of the league; January 19 against Hertha Berlin.
47'
J. Kimmich gets yellow.
Kimmich is shown an early yellow card for catching the head of Klaus with his boot after a failed overhead kick in midfield - which is certainly not in the spirit of the season.
46'
Bayern Munich get the match restarted from the kick-off!
45' +4
HALF-TIME: BAYERN MUNICH 0-0 WOLFSBURG.
45' +3
J. Boateng enters the game and replaces Javi Martínez.
Boateng comes on for Martinez in injury time as the substitution could not wait until the half.
45'
The fourth official indicates two additional minutes for stoppages at the end of the 45.
44'
More injury concerns for Bayern Munich as Martinez seems to have pulled up while in a race with Steffen to save the ball from going out for a corner. He immediately grabbed his hamstring and went down, as Boateng warms up in preparation.
42'
Lewandowski finally gets a chance to dispatch a header towards goal unimpeded, but Casteels is quick to move across his line and make the save.
40'
Davies once again gets forward and looks to interchange with Coutinho on the edge of the area, only for the Brazil international to dummy, in hopes that the pass will find Lewandowski. It doesn’t, as another Bayern Munich attack temporarily comes to an end.
38'
Kimmich attempts a weaker left-foot strike at goal that dribbles on the ground always curling away from goal. Casteels drops to his knees, but only to protect the inside of his goal as he watches it roll comfortably wide.
36'
A set-piece routine from Wolfsburg from 30 yards out sees two team-mates (both stepping on the ball), run in opposite directions at once, allowing Arnold to run-up in the space left between them and hammer a free-kick towards goal. The choreographed attack fails at the outset as the hit crashes against the wall, but the riccochet comes back to the Wolfsburg midfielder - and he drills a half-volley at Neuer, which the goalkeeper catches, making it look easy.
34'
Despite being held without an effort in the first half, Lewandowski has looked lively, acting as the focal point around the edge of the penalty area, working the likes of Coutinho and Gnabry into the match. It’s resulted in a lack of potency around the net for the striker, though Bayern are attacking from different and diverse angles instead.
32'
Kimmich takes a free-kick from outside the penalty area on the right, but his crossed delivery is met by the powerful head of Guilavogui, who clears it without hesitation.
30'
At the 30 minute mark, both sides have had their share of opportunities to open the scoring. Both Casteels and Neuer have been in top form so far, though there is little doubt that the Wolfsburg goalkeeper has been the busier thus far.
26'
Muller takes a shot on from well outside the penalty area after a great searching pass from Coutinho, but the effort is dragged just wide of the far post - with Casteels leaving it smartly, as Wolfsburg are given a goal-kick.
22'
Brooks goes through the back of Lewandowski, leaving the striker grimacing as he holds his calf. The free-kick is in a great position to have a strike at goal; which must be going through the minds of Coutinho, Alaba and Lewandowski, all three of whom stand over the dead ball.
21'
Kimmich takes the second corner towards Muller, but the midfielder can only pop a header straight up. Lewandowski uses his strength to shield the ball under his protection, but he’s unable to set a team-mate up for a chance as the Wolfsburg defence converges.
19'
Kimmich takes a very deep corner to the far post, but he manages to win a second set-piece in quick succession after the ball exited play thanks to Brooks’ defensive clearance.
11'
It appears as though there’s been an in-game tactical change. Martinez has dropped into the heart of defence alongside Alaba. That has pushed Pavard to right-back, which in-turn has allowed Kimmich to occupy a defensive midfielder role in between Coutinho and Muller. With two very attacking midfielders, it will be Kimmich’s job to shield the back line and break up play.
9'
Bayern are looking to attack at an extremely high pace as Lewandowski is constantly running towards goal in possession. With Gnabry to his right, and the very attacking Davies bombing down the left - the Bayern number nine will have a host of options to choose from on either side.
7'
OFFSIDE! Gnabry finds himself in acres of space after Coutinho’s disguised pass gets through Brooks and Tisserand in the heart of defence, but the two centre-backs stepped in unison to draw the winger offside.
5'
Play is stopped very early on as Arnold is receiving treatment for what looks to be an abdomen injury. He seems to be finding difficulty breathing - an injury he sustained after an attempted slide tackle on Lewandowski during the previous play. It looks like he’ll be able to continue after regaining his breath.
3'
Davies cuts a ball across the edge of the 18 for Coutinho, whose dummy get the ball to Lewandowski. The imposing striker plays it to the right wing for Gnabry - who is dispossessed in the penalty area.

Wolfsburg get the match underway from the kick-off!
Hello and welcome to our LIVE commentary of the Bundesliga fixture between Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg!
For the first time this decade, neither Bayern Munich nor Borussia Dortmund will end the first half of the season as Herbstmeister - as Leipzig and Borussia Monchengladbach hold a four-point lead with one match remaining in 2019. A return to form has seen Bayern string together three straight victories after two league defeats on the bounce - however, the Bavarians haven’t managed to keep a clean sheet in the Bundesliga since a 4-0 victory over Fortuna Dusseldorf one month ago.
If Bayern’s defence is in need of sorting itself out, Wolfsburg are a fantastic opponent, as they have managed fewer strikes than only Fortuna Dusseldorf (who occupy a relegation place). Their tight defence has atoned for their woes in front of goal, however, as Oliver Glasner’s squad have conceded the fewest goals in Germany’s top flight, with 16 allowed in 16 games. Though an unremarkable squad, they currently occupy ninth place, but a win could move them as high as seventh.
With 10 minutes to go before kick-off, let's take a look at the team news - starting with the hosts!
BAYERN MUNICH XI (4-3-3): Manuel Neuer; Alphonso Davies, David Alaba, Benjamin Pavard, Joshua Kimmich; Philippe Coutinho, Javi Martinez, Thomas Muller; Ivan Perisic, Robert Lewandowski, Serge Gnabry.
WOLFSBURG SUBS: Daniel Ginczek, William, Pavao Pervan, Robin Knoche, Paulo Otavio, Jeffrey Bruma, Wout Weghorst, Josip Brekalo, Yannick Gerhardt.
WOLFSBURG STARTING XI (4-3-3): Koen Casteels; Kevin Mbabu, Marcel Tisserand, John Brooks, Jerome Roussillon; Xaver Schlager, Joshua Guilavogui, Maximilian Arnold; Joao Victor, Felix Klaus, Renato Steffen.
BAYERN MUNICH SUBS: Joshua Zirkzee, Sarpreet Singh, Lars Lukas Mai, Leon Dajaku, Sven Ulreich, Jerome Boateng.
Wolfsburg have looked happy to remain compact and his on the counter through the pace of Mbabu and Joao Victor - which will likely continue as the match continues to stretch. Glasner will have to decide based on how the match progresses whether he is happy with a point at the Allianz Arena, as he has quite a few wingers and strikers to change the match with, including Ginczek, Brekalo and Weghorst. Bayern, on the other hand, have an extremely inexperienced substitute’s list thanks to an incredible number of injuries - and are already down a change thanks to the enforced switch. Bayern look to be limping into a much-needed winter break.
That concludes our commentary of the Bundesliga fixture between Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg! We hope you enjoyed it!
The German Bundesliga takes it’s winter break immediately following this round of fixtures, with Bayern Munich in action again on January 19 away against Hertha Berlin. Koln host Wolfsburg on January 18.
