T. Mings has scored a goal for Aston Villa! Assist by E. Konsa.
GOAL!!!! VILLA HAVE WON IT RIGHT AT THE END!! All three centre-backs are involved as a free-kick is lumped into the box. Hause wins the initial header and it falls to Mings. He tries to work a yard to shoot but is dispossessed and goes to ground. The ball falls to Konsa, who smashes a shot at goal that hits Mings and flies into the top corner! It's 2-1 to Villa!
Konsa may feel aggrieved not to have been credited with the goal, but he struck it first-time with power and the deflection off his team-mate took it well out of Foster's reach.

Description
72'
Watford were perhaps guilty of taking their foot off the gas a little as the second half wore on, sitting deeper and inviting pressure. They've now got to respond to losing their lead.
70'
There's a scramble in the box as Watford get the ball into the Villa area, but Reina smothers the danger in the crowd of players.
68'
Douglas Luiz has scored a goal for Aston Villa!
Douglas Luiz gets yellow.
GOAL!! VILLA ARE LEVEL! Guilbert holds onto the ball well and wriggles into space before finding Grealish on the edge of the box. The attacking midfielder then feeds Targett to his left and the full-back strikes firmly at goal. It's saved and the rebound just evades El Ghazi, but Luiz arrives to smash into the roof of the net! It's 1-1!
Luiz is then booked for celebrating a little too vigorously with the crowd.
66'
Villa are still probing and Watford have certainly been on the back foot more often than not so far in this half.
64'
Mings is furious as he is penalised for handball on the halfway line. Deulofeu tries to prod the ball past the defender and it hits Mings' arm, although it is by his side. The Watford players seem to want a booking, but a free-kick is all.
62'
Villa are trying to push forward in search of an equaliser but can only seem to create chances through crosses into the box. Watford's secure, narrow shape is giving them nothing through the middle.
56'
Douglas Luiz enters the game and replaces D. Drinkwater.
Drinkwater jogs off as Smith makes his first change, bringing Luiz on for fresh legs in midfield.
50'
Villa win a corner and once again the delivery causes problems, finding Hause, who rose highest to meet it, but the defender powers his header over the bar.
48'
The second half has started in more or less the same vein as the first. Neither side has been able to really dominate proceedings and both have had the ball, but struggled to create a great deal with it.
46'
We're back under way for the second half!
45' +3
HALF-TIME: ASTON VILLA 0-1 WATFORD
45' +1
T. Mings gets yellow.
Mings is slow to the ball on the flank and dives in late on Doucoure. The referee allows Watford to play on, but the advantage comes to nothing and Mings is eventually booked.
42'
Villa are trying to respond to going behind but are still lacking urgency and Watford are negotiating both the pressure and the press applied by the hosts.
38'
T. Deeney has scored a goal for Watford! Assist by Deulofeu.
Deulofeu's exchange with Doucoure on the right to create space was smooth and well-executed, but Watford did profit from some exceptionally lax marking in the box at the end of the move.
GOAL!! WATFORD ARE IN FRONT! Doucoure plays a neat one-two with Deulofeu and sends him away down the right. The Spaniard lofts a cross onto the head of Deeney, who isn't being tracked in the box, and the striker heads emphatically home! It's 1-0 to Watford!
35'
Both sides are playing with a great deal of caution here. They seem more concerned with not losing than with really going for the win.
33'
Watford have been on the back foot again over the last few minutes but without being truly threatened, as Targett slices a cross out of play despite being played cleverly into space down the left.
28'
A sloppy passage of play from Villa high up the field leads to a cheap free-kick being given Watford's way. It's taken quickly and is aimed direct towards the hosts' box, but Reina is off his line to clear just outside his area. The referee calls play back in any case and demands that the free-kick be retaken.
26'
Villa are starting to increase their urgency on the ball and move it around quicker in the final third, but their passing hasn't been quite incisive enough yet to pry open a well-organised Watford unit.
24'
Grealish fires the ball in at pace, but it's blocked away and - despite the ensuing pinball in the box - it doesn't fall for a Villa player and is cleared.
23'
Trezeguet gets the wrong side of Capoue and is bundled to the ground at the byline on the Villa right. It's a dangerous position for the hosts.
21'
The momentum of this game continues to swing and Villa have found themselves back on top over the last few minutes. Outside of corners, however, they have yet to really craft an opening.
19'
Villa are starting to threaten from set-pieces now and earn another corner. It's swung to the back post where Hause meets it, but he can only steer his firm header harmlessly wide of the target!
17'
Villa players are furious as a goal-kick is given Watford's way following a corner. Replays show that Mings headed against Dawson and behind, but it's missed and a second set-piece is not awarded.
15'
Deulofeu shows off his close-control as he drives into the box from the left, but he's crowded out by three defenders as he runs out of pitch near the byline and Reina is eventually able to gather comfortably.
13'
Pereyra curls a cross into the area but Deeney is well-marshalled and can't get a shot away, instead diverting tamely in the vague direction of the goal.
11'
Watford are still dominating the ball now and Villa are struggling to get out of their own half. However, the Hornets are struggling to turn their possession into meaningful chances against a solid defensive shape at present.
9'
Watford are now enjoying a strong spell on the ball as they force Villa backwards and test the hosts' ability to defend their penalty area.
7'
Guilbert drifts infield from his right wing-back position and draws a clumsy foul from a retreating Deulofeu. The free-kick is in a promising position for the hosts.
5'
After an open start, Villa have settled on the ball and are now passing it around in their own half, patiently probing for an opening into an attacking area.
3'
Pereyra sprints down the right and lofts a cross into the middle, but Deulofeu can't make the most of it under pressure. Villa break and Targett tries to fizz a low ball in from the left, but it's dealt with well and Watford get back on the ball.

We're under way at Villa Park!
Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Premier League fixture between Aston Villa and Watford at Villa Park.
Watford are just one place and one point ahead of 18th-placed Aston Villa coming into this fixture and a win for either side could prove significant as both bid for Premier League survival.
Aston Villa XI (3-4-2-1): Pepe Reina; Ezri Konsa, Tyrone Mings, Kortney Hause; Frederic Guilbert, Danny Drinkwater, Marvelous Nakamba, Matt Targett; Trezeguet, Jack Grealish; Anwar El Ghazi.
Aston Villa substitutes: Douglas Luiz, Ahmed Elmohamady, Conor Hourihane, Orjan Nyland, Henri Lansbury, Indiana Vassilev, James Chester.
Watford XI (4-2-3-1): Ben Foster; Adrian Mariappa, Craig Dawson, Craig Cathcart, Adam Masina; Nathaniel Chalobah, Etienne Capoue; Roberto Pereyra, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Gerard Deulofeu; Troy Deeney.
Watford substitutes: Christian Kabasele, Ignacio Pussetto, Heurelho Gomes, Jose Holebas, Domingos Quina, Andre Gray, Joao Pedro.
Both sides appeared to take a cautious approach to this game from the off, but Smith and Villa must surely show more urgency and ambition in the second half than they did in the first now that they are trailing. The tempo was a little too slow too often before half-time and they lacked a cutting edge in attack.
Thank you for joining our coverage, we hope you enjoyed the game. Until next time, goodbye!
Villa host Leicester City in the second leg of their EFL Cup semi-final next Tuesday, while Watford have a postponed FA Cup replay against Tranmere Rovers this Thursday that will be their third game in six days.
