GOAL!! VYDRA THUMPS BURNLEY BACK IN FRONT!! Hendrick pings a raking ball into the substitute from the right and he takes the ball on the turn, before lashing a thunderous half-volley into the top-left corner with his left foot! What a strike! It's now 2-1 to Burnley!
Hendrick's ball from deep into Vydra in a central position on the edge of the box was outstanding and caught Southampton off-guard, although the substitute had plenty to do himself after receiving the pass.
58'
Ings latches onto a long ball forward from McCarthy and works a yard on Tarkowski with a clever feint before crossing into the box, but it's a little high and has to be retrieved on the far side.

Southampton press Burnley well and win the ball back high up on the right. However, Armstrong's cross is lacking in quality and the chance is wasted.

Wood pulled up with what appears to be a hamstring complaint shortly before Burnley conceded and he is unable to continue. Vydra replaces him in support of Rodriguez.

GOAL!! INGS FIRES SOUTHAMPTON LEVEL!! Determined to atone for his earlier mistake, the striker tries to back-heel into Long and it ricochets off Mee and back into his path.
