Easy for Gulacsi. Fernandes thumps from distance, the goalkeeper holds on, and the Leipzig fans jeer. Tottenham have not really come any closer than that, though.
90' +1
M. Fagan-Walcott enters the game and replaces S. Aurier.
SUB: Aurier has endured a tough outing and makes way for teenager Fagan-Walcott, who is on for his Tottenham debut.
There will be six minutes of added time.
89'
Even that goal has not prompted a response from Tottenham. They have barely laid a glove on their opponents over the two legs. This is comfortable progress for Leipzig.
87'
E. Forsberg enters the game and replaces M. Sabitzer.
E. Forsberg has scored a goal for RB Leipzig!
SUB: There is no hat-trick for Sabitzer. Forsberg takes the midfielder's place and his armband.
GOOAAALLLL!!! FORSBERG! 3-0 Leipzig! 4-0 on aggregate! With his first touch! Leipzig once again break in numbers, and after Winks and Sessegnon dive in front of shots inside the area, Forsberg fires past Lloris. The Leipzig players were queueing up.
80'
Gedson Fernandes enters the game and replaces G. Lo Celso.
SUB: Tottenham make a first change. Lo Celso, often their chief creator, is off for Fernandes. There appears no way back into this one.
78'
Leipzig really finished this tie in the first half. While there is a threat on the counter, their attacking intent has waned in the second half. Tottenham are trying to create but have failed fairly spectacularly.
76'
Adams' deflected cross wins a corner, but Werner takes the set-piece too quickly and then sends his second effort onto the toe of the defender at the near post.
73'
Leipzig counter in numbers, as they have done throughout, but Schick chooses not to play in Werner and instead looks left... to no-one. Tottenham clear.
71'
M. Sabitzer gets yellow.
YELLOW: This game is getting really scrappy, which might well suit Leipzig. Sabitzer chops down Alli and gets a card.
Minute
Description
70'
D. Alli gets yellow.
YELLOW: Now Alli is booked for a foul from behind on Angelino. This has been a very frustrating outing for Tottenham's striker.
68'
J. Tanganga gets yellow.
YELLOW: Tanganga goes into the book for a foul on Werner, who continues to cause problems.
67'
While Klostermann and Halstenberg have played some lovely passes out of defence, Upamecano has preferred to personally deliver the ball to the Tottenham box, charging forward alone. Tottenham's forwards have struggled to match the attacking threat of the Leipzig centre-back.
65'
Schick heads clear a Tottenham corner, and Leipzig, of course, break. Angelino fouls Lamela, though, who in turn leaves a foot in on Sabitzer. The Leipzig captain squeals in pain but will be able to continue without treatment.
63'
A rare opportunity for Sessegnon to get in behind on the left, beating Adams, but his cross is too powerful for Lamela, sluggish in the centre. Angelino still hurries the ball behind for a corner.
62'
Each Tottenham attack is merely an opportunity for Leipzig to break. And Spurs still need three goals. Schick cannot get enough on a shot inside the area after Laimer moves the home side forward again.
60'
Over the top! Tottenham are keeping the ball better, but Leipzig are happy to stay patient, finally win the ball, and counter. Werner runs at Dier but shoots over the crossbar from 20 yards.
59'
A. Haidara enters the game and replaces C. Nkunku.
SUB: Nkunku has been quiet compared to some of his team-mates and is withdrawn for Haidara.
58'
Speculative. Tottenham have created very little, and Lucas, with little support, hacks a shot off target from 25 yards.
56'
T. Adams enters the game and replaces N. Mukiele.
SUB: The versatile Adams arrives in Mukiele's place at right-wing-back.
52'
Leipzig are moving the ball with much greater urgency than Tottenham. Spurs can keep the ball without doing a great deal with it, whereas the hosts like to attack at great speed. It has been effective.
50'
K. Laimer gets yellow.
YELLOW: Leipzig's first card comes as Laimer clips Lamela in the midfield.
49'
Outstanding from Klostermann! He beats Alli in the Leipzig half and then spreads a glorious pass into Werner's path. The forward cuts inside past Tanganga but finds Aurier in his way, eventually giving up possession with a poor pass.
48'
Tottenham are pushing Leipzig, as they were at the start of the first half. Lamela is muscled off the ball in the area, though, and Leipzig can rebuild with a goal-kick.
47'
No changes at the break, then. Mourinho's options on the bench are limited, and he has sent this XI out to fix all that was wrong with the first half.
46'
KICK-OFF: We are back under way with Leipzig on the ball!
45' +2
HALF-TIME: RB Leipzig 2-0 Tottenham (3-0 agg)
45' +1
H. Winks gets yellow.
YELLOW: Now Winks gets a card, but he will feel he has no choice. The midfielder hacks down Laimer as he kickstarts a counter from Tottenham's latest poor set-piece.
There is a minimum of one minute of added time.
45'
Poor from Tottenham. Aurier wins a rare corner from Angelino, but Lo Celso's set-piece is gathered by Gulacsi without any serious challenge.
42'
There is no let up, though. Schick and Werner could have an opportunity but get in one another's way as they hare towards the Tottenham box, allowing Tanganga to clear.
40'
Leipzig are playing with Tottenham. They keep the ball for an extended period, working it right and left, before Upamecano looks for Mukiele in behind and just overhits the pass.
38'
Of course, Tottenham won 3-2 at Ajax in the semi-finals last year to advance, but they simply do not look capable of troubling Leipzig right now. If there are to be further goals, the hosts look by far the more likely to get them.
36'
Sabitzer tries his luck from range as he bids for a first-half hat-trick. A deflection earns a corner that Nkunku sees headed away. Leipzig can build again, though.
34'
R. Sessegnon gets yellow.
YELLOW: Sessegnon is now on a booking up against the dangerous Mukiele. The Tottenham wing-back steps on his opponent as he attempts to make a challenge.
33'
Punched clear! Angelino keeps the ball in on the left, Laimer crosses, and Mukiele towers over Sessegnon. Schick gets up to challenge Lloris from the header, but the goalkeeper does well to turn the ball away.
31'
Good effort! Leipzig move the ball smartly to set Werner up against Tanganga. He opts to cut inside and shoot from 20 yards but cannot pick out the top-right corner.
30'
Great play from Halstenberg. He holds up Alli, then wins the ball, then holds off the recovering opponent, before winning a tackle with Aurier.
27'
Tottenham are in real trouble. They are being forced back, and that is creating a big gap between the forwards and the rest of the team. Lucas is isolated as he attempts to carry the side forward, and Werner breaks at the other end. He cannot find Schick on this occasion.
26'
Tottenham have a chance to counter, but Lamela is held up, and Leipzig's speed on the break is sensational. Mukiele races forward, and Dier is required to step out and block. Leipzig keep the ball after their latest corner.
25'
Angelino continues to go at Aurier. His latest cross is blocked to win a corner, but Sessegnon heads clear.
23'
Mourinho does not look a happy man at all. He has young players in this team and a makeshift attack, but his World Cup-winning captain has gifted Leipzig a pair of goals.
21'
M. Sabitzer has scored a goal for RB Leipzig! Assist by Angeliño.
GOOAAALLLL!!! SABITZER AGAIN! 2-0 Leipzig! 3-0 on aggregate! And awful from Lloris again! Sabitzer gets across his man from Angelino's left-wing cross and heads towards the near post, where Lloris can only parry against the post. The ball bounces over the line, and Leipzig are running away with it!
Lloris is not the only man at fault. Aurier, given a warning from Angelino a few minutes ago, mistimes his header and lets his opponent get in and deliver the cross. Good delivery, good finish, poor defending, poor goalkeeping.
20'
Tottenham just need to be a little careful here. The key battle is between Aurier and Angelino, with neither defending particularly well. Aurier twice gets down the right and crosses, the latest seeing Lucas head straight up in the air. If there are spaces going the other way, though, Angelino could help take this tie away from Tottenham.
17'
Werner is enjoying himself against this Tottenham defence. He so nearly nips in when Dier and Tanganga leave the ball for one another. Dier recovers and is furious with his team-mate.
16'
Tottenham always needed to score two to advance within normal time here, so that task has not changed. But Leipzig crucially have momentum after that strike.
14'
It is all Leipzig. Mukiele does really well to work room for a cross, but Tottenham clear. Halstenberg attempts a second delivery, with team-mates in the area, but his centre drifts behind.
13'
Leipzig are not content with one goal. Laimer picks out Mukiele, who hammers into the sidenetting. However, the offside flag is up against the rampaging wing-back.
10'
M. Sabitzer has scored a goal for RB Leipzig! Assist by T. Werner.
Werner is still waiting for a home Champions League goal, but he has an assist already here. Laimer races down the right and finds Werner, although he has no route to goal. It matters not, as the forward tees up Sabitzer. There is a lot for Sabitzer still to do, but he gets a big helping hand from Lloris.
GOOAAALLLL!!! SABITZER! 1-0 Leipzig! 2-0 on aggregate! Sabitzer scores, yet this is poor from Lloris. A sweeping 20-yard strike is hard and low but should be gathered by the goalkeeper, who instead palms the ball into the bottom-left corner. Big blow for Tottenham!
9'
Upamecano is being moved around effectively so far by Alli, who is drifting wide to the right to allow Lamela to run beyond him. On a couple of occasions, only the final ball has been lacking.
7'
Almost an opening at the other end! Werner gets in behind Dier on the right and holds the ball up well. A pass back to Nkunku is smartly moved on to Angelino, but the wing-back slips as he sends a shot cannoning into the legs of Aurier.
5'
Nice work! Tottenham's interplay in the Leipzig half is promising. A neat interchange frees Alli on the right, dragging Upamecano out of position, but a cute reverse ball to Lamela in the centre is cleared in front of the winger.
4'
Tottenham need to press as a team, with Alli surely ill-suited to act alone as a target man. Sessegnon leads his side on the left, although he cannot then find a team-mate with a cross when Winks wins the ball.
2'
Lucas gets up to head clear Angelino's corner, and Laimer then drills a pass out for a goal-kick. A slightly nervy start from Tottenham.
1'
KICK-OFF: Alli gets us under way!
Sloppy from Dier! Tottenham initially keep the ball high up the field, but Leipzig counter and Dier, under pressure, knocks the ball out for a corner with a misplaced pass towards Lloris.
Hello and welcome to our live text commentary of the Champions League last-16 second leg between RB Leipzig and Tottenham!
Leipzig boast a 1-0 lead returning to Germany, where they will play in front of a full Red Bull Arena. Fans have been allowed in to this match despite the coronavirus crisis that has caused postponements and matches behind closed doors across Europe.
The Bundesliga side were surely already favourites as hosts in this second leg, but Spurs' latest injury setback boosts Leipzig further. Already missing Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, Jose Mourinho does not expect January signing Steven Bergwijn to play again this season amid a knee sprain. This is an uphill task for the visitors.
Let's get the team news in full from Germany...
RB Leipzig (3-4-3): Peter Gulacsi; Lukas Klostermann, Dayot Upamecano, Marcel Halstenberg; Nordi Mukiele, Marcel Sabitzer, Konrad Laimer, Angelino; Christopher Nkunku, Patrik Schick, Timo Werner.
Subs: Paulo Gazzaniga, Jan Vertonghen, Tanguy Ndombele, Oliver Skipp, Gedson Fernandes, Troy Parrott, Malachi Fagan-Walcott.
Tottenham (3-4-3): Hugo Lloris; Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganga; Serge Aurier, Harry Winks, Giovani Lo Celso, Ryan Sessegnon; Erik Lamela, Dele Alli, Lucas Moura.
What can Mourinho do to change this? Could Ndombele make amends for his weekend display? Tottenham have scarcely been in the game so far.
While Leipzig head into the last-eight draw, Tottenham's sole focus is on the Premier League. They are out of the FA Cup, too, and face a real battle to qualify for Europe again next season.
That's all from this one, where Leipzig have advanced with ease. Thanks for joining us and, until next time, goodbye!
