Cristoforo enters the referee's book late on for a challenge on Kroos.
90' +2
Four minutes have been added on at the end of the match at Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.
90' +1
Oliveira sticks with Vinicius and gets the better of that battle down Madrid's left-hand flank. Vinicius is getting in some good positions but has been unable to really make the most of those opportunities.
90'
Pedro Leon somehow gets away from a couple of Madrid players and scoops the ball into the path of Cristoforo. He slips before he can shoot but argues the ball hit Varane on the hand - replays show the referee is right to wave away those weak penalty appeals.
88'
Bale has the ball at his feet in the final third for pretty much the first time since being brought off the bench. His deep cross is horribly overhit and Vinicius is unable to keep it in play.
86'
Casemiro is certainly not pulling out of challenges, despite already being on a yellow and receiving a couple of warnings from the referee.
85'
Vinicius chases down Benzema's pass but is unable to get away from Burgos, who has only been on the field for about 30 seconds.
84'
E. Burgos enters the game and replaces Anaitz Arbilla.
F. Valverde enters the game and replaces L. Modrić.
Arbilla, who appeared to be carrying a knock, is replaced by Burgos.
Madrid's fifth and final change sees Modric replaced by Valverde in a like-for-like alteration in central midfield.
83'
Inui races to the byline and cuts the ball back. Courtois reads the danger and is well positioned to gather at his near post.
Minute
Description
81'
Madrid are badly struggling to keep hold of the ball, as has been the case throughout the second half. Zidane's men have been guilty of taking their eye off the ball after racing 3-0 up, though it does not look like it will matter all that much.
78'
T. Inui enters the game and replaces P. De Blasis.
Inui is on for De Blasis in Eibar's fourth change of the contest. Both teams have one more substitution available to use should they wish.
76'
Play resumes following the short stoppage. Zidane has had an opportunity to speak to his players, including Marcelo, who appears okay to continue despite complaining of being dizzy a little earlier.
74'
Oliveira heads Pedro Leon's free-kick over the crossbar in another let off for Madrid. The home team are struggling to get out of their slump as we have another water break.
72'
Casemiro lunges in on Pedro Leon and is perhaps fortunate to avoid being shown a second yellow card.
71'
Pedro Leon gets the better of Marcelo - another sign that the full-back is struggling - but Enrich is beaten to the cross.
68'
A bit more on that Marcelo incident - it appears as though he was complaining of dizziness when making his way to the side of the pitch. He does not look right at all, so Zidane will make a change shortly.
63'
Courtois will wonder if he could have done more to keep out that Eibar goal, which at his point will be nothing more than a consolation. A second goal from the visitors would certainly make things interesting, though...
62'
Hazard is sporting an ice pack on the bench following his substitution. The forward was caught early in the match but soldiered on
61'
G. Bale enters the game and replaces Rodrygo.
Éder Militão enters the game and replaces Sergio Ramos.
Vinícius Júnior enters the game and replaces E. Hazard.
Bale is introduced for the final half an hour. Rodrygo is the player to make way in a like-for-like change.
Zidane brings on Militao for Ramos with an hour played.
Hazard can be happy with his first hour back. He is replaced by Vinicius with Madrid effectively already over the line.
60'
Pedro Bigas has scored a goal for Eibar! Assist by P. De Blasis.
GOOOOAAAALLL!!! MADRID 3-1 EIBAR!! The home side have switched off in the second half and have now been made to pay. Benzema half clears the ball to De Blasis, whose shot takes a couple of deflections, including a telling one from Bigas to catch out Courtois.
De Blasis' shot would probably have been dealt with, but the touch off Bigas left Courtois wrong-footed and the keeper was unable to keep it out.
57'
Pedro León enters the game and replaces Fabián Orellana.
Sergi Enrich enters the game and replaces Kike García.
Pedro Bigas enters the game and replaces Rafa Soares.
Pedro Leon is brought on against his former club in place of Orellana.
Soares is replaced by Bigas in the first of Eibar's changes.
GOOD EFFORT! Out of absolutely nowhere, Exposito turns Modric 30 yards from goal and unleashes a shot that Courtois is equal to. That is as good as the visitors have offered today.
Mendilibar makes another change, with Enrich on for Martinez.
56'
The pace of the game has dropped quite substantially over the last few minutes. Madrid know the points are in the bag, Eibar know they have no hope of salvaging a point.
54'
Correa plays it inside to Orellana, who is chased down by a couple of Madrid players. Kroos takes the ball off him and within 10 seconds Hazard is played into space, but the Belgium forward's shot is dealt with by Dmitrovic.
52'
Some slick build-up play from Madrid, culminating in a right-footed cross from Mendy, does not get the sign-off it deserves as Correa heads over for a corner.
49'
COURTOIS REDEEMS HIMSELF! A poor pass from Courtois is knocked into the path of Exposito. The early shot is a half-decent one and Courtois does well to push the ball to safety, making amends for his error.
47'
Casemiro gets yellow.
Casemiro picks up the first yellow card of the match after going through the back of Exposito.
46'
F. Mendy enters the game and replaces Dani Carvajal.
Mendy is on for Carvajal for the start of the second half, possibly due to an injury issue.
RESTART! LaLiga strugglers Eibar get us back underway at Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.
45' +3
HALF-TIME: REAL MADRID 3-0 EIBAR
45' +1
Eibar's latest spell of possession comes to little as a loose ball runs through for Courtois to collect. That should be that in terms of the first-half action.
45'
Two minutes have been added on at the end of the first half at Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.
44'
Carvajal does brilliantly to stand his ground when left one-on-one with Cristoforo. Eibar are enjoying another spell on top but, unlike three-goal Madrid, they have yet to create anything of note.
42'
Eibar win their first corner of the game. The set-piece is a decent one, drilled towards the penalty spot, but none of their players can get on the end of it.
40'
Soares plays a deep cross into the Madrid box towards Kike, who fails to make any meaningful contact with it.
39'
It is fair to say Madrid have hit the ground running on their return to action. Zidane's side are certainly sending out a message to Barcelona, having bagged three goals in 37 first-half minutes. As for Eibar, they are ready for the half-time whistle.
37'
Marcelo has scored a goal for Real Madrid!
GOOOOOAAAAAALLLL!!! MADRID 3-0 EIBAR!!! Hazard, now playing down the right-hand side, is slipped in by Benzema. He is denied by Dmitrovic from the one-on-one, but Alvarez can only clear the loose ball as far as Marcelo, who takes a touch to set himself and then fires a shot into the back of the net. Marcelo celebrates by taking a knee.
35'
Madrid have stepped off a tad over the last couple of minutes, but it is not like Zidane's men have to force the issue thanks to their two-goal lead.
34'
Both of Madrid's goal have been pretty special in their own way - Kroos's for the technique and the second from Ramos because of the way the hosts stepped through the gears. Like Barcelona on Saturday, Zidane's men appear to be cruising to all three points.
32'
Play resumes after a two-minute stoppage for both sets of players to take on some fluids. Eibar have looked okay in possession at times in this first half, but they now have it all to do.
30'
Sergio Ramos has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by E. Hazard.
Hazard was one-on-one with Dmitrovic and could have gone it alone. He instead took the unselfish option of passing to high-scoring centre-back Ramos.
GOOOOAAAALLLL!!!! MADRID 2-0 EIBAR!!! Ramos starts and ends a scintillating Madrid counter to double the home side's tally. The centre-back plays the ball out from the back after intercepting it and Benzema takes over by charging down the left, cutting inside and playing in Hazard. The Belgium winger unselfishly squares it to Ramos, who has a simple tap-in.
29'
Correa overhits a cross from the right. It is picked up by Soares on the opposite flank and played back into the middle, where Varane is waiting to clear.
28'
Madrid patiently pass the ball around in the final third. The attack ends with Rodrygo losing possession around 30 yards from goal, sparking an Eibar counter that ultimately comes to little.
26'
Modric is playing higher up the pitch all of a sudden, picking up the ball near the byline and swinging a cross into the middle. It is aimed towards Benzema but Correa gets to it first at the expense of a corner.
24'
Rodrygo uses a nice piece of skill to get the better of Soares. The Eibar left-back drags his opponent down and is lucky to avoid a booking.
23'
Soares is played in behind down the Eibar left. Rather than take on his man he elects for an early cross, which Marcelo is equal to.
21'
Kroos plays a delightful drilled pass down the right-hand flank for Rodrygo to chase down, but the Brazil winger cannot quite keep it in play.
20'
Rodrygo has space to run into down the right for the first time today. He knocks the ball past Soares but soon loses possession inside the opposition box.
19'
Modric turns away from Exposito out on the right and is caught by his opponent before he can break clear. Madrid are just starting to take back control of the game, though they have not offered a great deal in an attacking sense since their third-minute goal.
17'
After making a fast start to the game, Madrid have arguably been second best since Kroos' impressive opener. Eibar are passing the ball around with some swagger and had that penalty shout turned down a couple of minutes ago.
13'
SAVE! Eibar have settled down over the last few minutes. Cristoforo's shot from distance is an easy one for Courtois to deal with, the Madrid keeper getting both hands to the ball.
10'
Madrid forward Hazard is still not looking all that comfortable after the challenge a couple of minutes ago - Zidane will been keeping a close eye on that. Madrid are still well in control of the match, although Eibar have seen a bit more of the ball over the last 60 seconds or so.
8'
Hazard is caught late by Exposito and hobbles away from the challenge. That is a worrying sight for Zidane given the former Chelsea forward's injury issues in his debut campaign at the Santiago Bernabeu.
7'
Eibar have not really been able to settle into the game yet, which is credit to their opponents for hitting the ground running. Having seen Barcelona score early in their 4-0 rout of Real Mallorca, Madrid have done likewise today.
5'
The Kroos goal is allowed to stand following a brief VAR check for an offside infringement against Benzema. A glorious start for Zidane's men.
4'
T. Kroos has scored a goal for Real Madrid!
GOOOOOAAAAALLLL!!!! MADRID 1-0 EIBAR!! It has taken Madrid all of 182 seconds to open the scoring on their return to action - and what a goal it is! Benzema is dispossessed in the box but Alvarez can only clear the ball as far as Kroos, who sends a delightful first-time shot over Dmitrovic and into the top-right corner from the edge of the box.
2'
The home side, as expected, are seeing plenty of the ball early on. Kroos drops deep to pick up possession and spreads a pass to Carvajal down the right, but Eibar are forming a solid wall in the final third.
1'
KICK-OFF! Madrid, desperate to make a winning return to LaLiga action, get us up and running in the Spanish capital!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the LaLiga clash between Real Madrid and Eibar at Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.
Second-place Madrid are aiming to close the gap on leaders Barcelona, who beat Real Mallorca 4-0 on Saturday to move five points clear at the top. Zinedine Zidane's men won just one of their last four matches prior to the coronavirus-enforced shutdown and cannot afford any more slip-ups if they are to catch Barca.
Eibar enter this match 16th in the table, just two points above the relegation zone with 11 matches to go. Jose Luis Mendilibar's side have lost four of their last five matches, most recently going down 2-1 at home to Real Sociedad on March 10.
MADRID XI (4-3-3): Thibaut Courtois; Daniel Carvajal, Raphael Varane, Sergio Ramos (c), Marcelo; Luka Modric, Casemiro, Toni Kroos; Rodrygo, Karim Benzema, Eden Hazard.
Subs: Gareth Bale, Diego Altube, Ferland Mendy, Javi Hernandez, James Rodriguez, Isco, Federico Valverde, Alphonse Areola, Vinicius Junior, Brahim Diaz, Marco Asensio, Eder Militao.
Subs: Esteban Burgos, Takashi Inui, Pedro Leon, Cote, Charles, Sergio Cubero, Quique Gonzalez, Yoel Rodriguez, Pedro Bigas, Alvaro Tejero, Pape Diop, Sergi Enrich.
EIBAR XI (4-2-3-1): Marko Dmitrovic; Rober Correa, Paulo Oliveira, Anaitz Arbilla (c), Rafa Soares; Sebastian Cristoforo, Sergio Alvarez; Fabian Orellana, Edu Exposito, Pablo De Blasis; Kike Garcia.
The teams are coming out onto the pitch at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano, with kick-off just moments away in this behind-closed-doors clash.
Zidane may be tempted to make changes at the break with the points effectively already in the bag, especially with Hazard picking up a knock early on. As for Eibar, it is surely now a case of damage limitation with 45 minutes to play. Remember, both sides can make up to five substitutions today.
Zidane's side are back in action on Thursday with another home match, this time against seventh-place Valencia. As for Eibar, they remain two points above the relegation zone ahead of Wednesday's visit of Athletic Bilbao.
That's all for today's live coverage. Thanks for joining!
