We're underway at the King Power Stadium.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Leicester City and Crystal Palace at the KIng Power Stadium.
The Foxes have struggled since the restart of the Premier League, failing to win any of their four matches. They have been beaten in successive outings, including their 2-1 defeat to Everton last time out. Brendan Rodgers' men are still in third place, but the race for the Champions League places is getting tighter at the climax of the campaign. He needs to find a performance out of his side to ensure they remain in the top four.
Palace too have not been at their best since their return to action. The Eagles did beat Bournemouth in their first match, but have since been thrashed by Liverpool and suffered a 1-0 defeat to Burnley last time out. Roy Hodgson's men are comfortable in mid-table, but he will be demanding them to finish as high as possible in the league table.
LEICESTER CITY (4-4-2): Kasper Schmeichel; James Justin, Jonny Evans, Caglar Soyuncu, Ben Chilwell; Ayoze Perez, Youri Tielemans, Wilfred Ndidi, Marc Albrighton; Jamie Vardy, Kelechi Iheanacho.
LEICESTER CITY SUBS: Wes Morgan, Demarai Gray, Danny Ward, Harvey Barnes, Hamza Choudhury, Nampalys Mendy, Dennis Praet, Christian Fuchs, Ryan Bennett.
CRYSTAL PALACE SUBS: Scott Dann, Max Meyer, Cheikhou Kouyate, Andros Townsend, Wayne Hennessey, James McCarthy, Sam Woods, Tyrick Mitchell, Brandon Pierrick Keutcha.
CRYSTAL PALACE (4-5-1): Vicente Guaita; Joel Ward, Gary Cahill, Mamadou Sakho, Patrick van Aanholt; Jordan Ayew, James McArthur, Jairo Riedewald, Luka Milivojevic, Wilfried Zaha; Christian Benteke.
Jamie Vardy has not been at his best since the turn of the year, and especially since the restart. The striker has looked off the pace in the final third, producing a heavy touch from Ayoze Perez's offload and failing to pick out Kelechi Iheanacho in the middle. Brendan Rodgers needs his marksman to get firing once again.
Leicester are next in action against Arsenal on the road on Tuesday, while Palace take on Chelsea at home on the same day.
Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
