That should be that now, three goals for City and they have cruised through the group stage.
90'
Álvaro González is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
There will be a minimum of three minutes added time played at the end of the second half.
GOOOAAALLL! Sterling scores City’s third! A low cross is drilled into the box from the right and Mandanda does well to block it, but the ball then flicks up and strikes Alvaro unexpectedly, who doesn’t have time to react as Sterling then nicks it off him right in front of goal and finishes from close range.
89'
City are just seeing the game out now, there isn't much pace to it and Marseille don't look like getting a late goal to make it interesting.
87'
Free-kick to City here in a good position after Torres is tripped up just outside the box. Foden steps up to take it, he gets it over the wall, but it flies just wide of the right-hand post.
85'
City will top Group C with an impressive 16 points and they will hope to get a good draw in the knockout stages on Monday as they look to win their first ever Champions League title.

All the confidence seems to have gone from the visitors now, as they have less than 10 minutes to score two goals and City look very comfortable.
79'
Good strike! Sterling finds space on the edge of the penalty area and finds time to fire a low shot at goal, but Mandanda reads it well and makes a good low save.
77'

GOOOAAALLL! Aguero makes it 2-0 to City! Description
73'
It is all very comfortable for City at the moment, they are letting Marseille have the ball, but are pressing quickly and the visitors are unable to get into the final third.
71'
Despite needing a goal here, Marseille aren't showing much intent to attack and level the scoreline. They've had just two attempts on target so far.
67'
M. Cuisance enters the game and replaces D. Payet.
S. Agüero enters the game and replaces R. Mahrez.
The other change by the visitors sees Payet replaced by Cuisance.

City also make a substitution and it is Mahrez who is making way for Aguero.
66'
V. Rongier enters the game and replaces B. Kamara.
64'
We're past the hour mark here at the Etihad and it remains Manchester City who lead 1-0, with the hosts looking the more likely to score again, with Marseille not testing Steffen.
62'
It looks like we may see the introduction of Aguero soon, as he is getting warmed up on the sidelines and this would be a good game to give him some minutes to try and get back to full fitness.
60'
Sterling has added a lot of width since coming onto the pitch at half-time, with him and Mahrez both sticking to the touchline and stretching the Marseille defence.
57'
The pace of the game has dropped in the last couple of minutes, with City looking comfortable with their lead and Marseille struggling to create anything in the final third.
55'
Almost! City catch the visitors out at the back and mount a quick attack, with Mahrez racing towards goal and he plays the ball to Silva on the overlap. However, his pass is too heavy and it forces Silva to try and square the ball to a team-mate, rather than shoot at goal himself and Marseille manage to clear the danger.
51'
Not too far away! Balerdi with a low strike towards the bottom right-hand corner of the net after City fail to deal with a corner into the box. However, his effort flies wide of the post.
50'
That's the perfect start to the second half by City, they just need to be careful now as Marseille will need a goal to stand a chance of finishing third and they should push on more in search of an equaliser.
48'
Ferran Torres has scored a goal for Manchester City!
GOOOAAALLL! City take the lead, it’s 1-0! Silva sprints forward and lays the ball off to Mahrez, who gets the ball nicked off his toes and it falls perfectly into the path of Torres, who then fires it past Mandanda from close range. It was unlucky for Marseille that the ball fell straight to the City man, but he made no mistakes with the finish.
46'
R. Sterling enters the game and replaces İ. Gündoğan.
City have made substitution ahead of the second half, with Gundogan the man coming off and he has been replaced by Sterling.
The second half is under way!

HALF-TIME: MANCHESTER CITY 0-0 MARSEILLE
45' +2
Decent effort! Foden forces Mandanda into making a save at his near post, after the winger found space down the left, but his shot lacked the pace to really test the Marseille keeper.
45'
There will be a minimum of two minutes added time played at the end of the first half.
44'
There's not long left to play at the Etihad before the end of the first half now, can either side break the deadlock before the half-time whistle?
41'
Great tackle! Good play by the visitors, they managed to work the ball into a good area down the right wing and Thauvin delivers a low cross into the six-yard box, which Germain goes for at the near post. However, Stones gets across brilliantly and makes an excellent sliding tackle to block the shot.
39'
P. Gueye gets yellow.
The first yellow card of the game is shown to Gueye for his blatant trip on Gundogan as he tried to break forward and set up another City attack from the halfway line.
36'
As it stands Marseille would finish third in Group C as Olympiacos are losing 1-0 at home to Porto in the other game today.
34'
Decent effort! Not too far away from Mahrez, with the winger cutting in from the right wing and unleashing a low drive towards the bottom right-hand corner of the net. However, it flies just wide of the post.
32'
Ambitious effort! Payet looks up and spots Steffen off his line, so tries to lob him from just inside the City half. However, the keeper comfortably gathers.
28'
J. Stones enters the game and replaces Eric García.
Here is the enforced City substitution, with Garcia limping off with an injury and he has been replaced by Stones.
24'
Wild effort! Foden finds a bit of space just outside the penalty area, skips past a Marseille defender and then fires a powerful strike towards goal. However, his shot flies well wide.
20'
Marseille look like they will be trying to counter quickly when they can, as at the moment, they are barely touching the ball in order to get into the final third and create a chance of their own.
18'
Torres seems to be the man playing in the central role for City, but Silva is getting up alongside him at every opportunity. So far the visitors are defending well, limiting the space that the hosts have to play into.
16'
It's all one-way traffic at the moment, with the visitors hardly touching the ball in the opening period of the game and they have everyone back behind the ball defending.
14'
Payet with a terrific ball into the penalty area and it is met by the head of Germain, but it seems to catch him by surprise and flies well wide of the City goal.
12'
Not too far away! Gundogan whips a superb free-kick into the penalty area from the right and Laporte challenges for the ball with Gonzalez, but the header flies just over the crossbar. The referee awards a goal-kick, but after seeing the replays it looks City should have had a corner.
7'
Decent chance! Gundogan whips a lovely cross into the box from the right wing and Walker meets it unmarked in the area, getting in front of his marker. However his header flies well wide of the goal. It wouldn't have counted anyway as the flag goes up for offside.
6'
City are camped inside the Marseille half of the pitch at the moment, with the visitors having to sit very deep and soak up the early pressure.
4'
Decent move by the visitors, with Thauvin getting deep down the right wing and he tries to find Payet in the penalty area with a cross. However, his ball is too close to Steffen and he comfortably gathers in the air.
3'
Its City with the early possession here, they are pressing high up the pitch and the front four are constantly switching, with no out and out striker on the field.
