Ekdal slides in Candreva, who makes it to the byline and tries to steer a right-footed cross towards the near post. Radu, however, is on hand at the near post to collect before Quagliarella can capitalise.
87'
Candreva whips in another corner and once again Ranocchia towers above Yoshida to head clear. Despite having won the league and dominating in this game, the hosts are still defending every cross like their life depends on it.
86'
Damsgaard drifts inside and arrows a right-footed cross towards the back post, where Young is forced into heading behind for a corner under the pressure of Candreva.
85'
Candreva, after winning the free-kick, whips in a set-piece delivery towards the near post. Ranocchia, as he has done from most crosses here, jumps the highest to head clear and keep Inter's four-goal advantage intact.
84'
Young wanders out to the left to block Candreva's cross but the referee deems the Englishman has used his arm. The visitors get a free-kick in a good position on the right and will have a chance to reduce the deficit in this game.
81'
D'Ambrosio invites pressure onto his side as his weak and wayward left-footed clearance finds the feet of Candreva. The veteran winger chooses to go down the line but his attempted cross gets turned behind for a corner.
77'
Sensi fakes to switch play and sends Pinamonti in down the left-hand channel. The substitute forward races after the throughball, only for Audero to beat him to the loose ball and clear out of play.
75'
Sensi's first touch invites a strong challenge from Bereszynski and the right-back obliges by clattering into him. Somehow Sampdoria's captain avoids a booking and it appears, just like Colley in the first half, he goes onto his last warning with the referee.
73'
S. Sensi enters the game and replaces L. Martínez.
F. Quagliarella enters the game and replaces K. Baldé.
Veteran Quagliarella comes on up top and replaces Keita.

Description
70'
Penalty goal scored by L. Martínez for Inter Milan!
GOALLLL! 5-1 INTER! After Silva’s adjudged handball, Martinez wanders up to the penalty spot against Audero. The goalkeeper dives the right way for the Argentine’s right-footed effort but still can’t get a hand to it as he sends the ball into the top right corner. An excellent penalty extends Inter’s lead even further and it looks like Silva is still questioning the penalty decision.
68'
Adrien Silva gets yellow.
After being deemed to have blocked Barella's effort with his hand for the penalty, Silva is carded by the referee.
65'
Hakimi feels he is fouled on the right by Damsgaard but the referee disagrees. Damsgaard then races towards the edge of the box but Bastoni stands firm to dispossess the substitute just as it looks like he was about to shoot.
63'
Sampdoria are committing men forward as they chase this game, however, it is leaving more space for Inter on the counter-attack. This time, Pinamonti's pass to Hakimi is weak, which wastes the chance but the visitors are looking like they can't cope with the new Serie A champions.
61'
N. Barella enters the game and replaces R. Gagliardini.
A. Pinamonti has scored a goal for Inter Milan! Assist by N. Barella.
Scorer of the first goal, Gagliardini, comes off for Barella.
GOOOOALLLLLL! 4-1 INTER! Barella instantly gets involved in the action as he reaches the edge of the area before chipping towards his two team-mates to the right of goal. Pinamonti takes one touch to control the pass before striking past Audero with a bouncing, right-footed finish into the bottom left corner.
Barella manages to work some space on the left of the area and gets his head up to see two of his team-mates to the right of goal. His right-footed pass finds Pinamonti, who takes a touch before bouncing a right-footed striker past the incoming Audero and into the bottom left corner.
58'
Verre chips a delicate pass over the top for the run of Keita but D'Ambrosio outjumps his opposite man to head back to Radu. Sampdoria are trying to move the ball forward with more urgency now but to no success as of yet.
56'
M. Brozović enters the game and replaces C. Eriksen.
At the same time as Pinamonti's introduction, Eriksen also makes his way off for Brozovic.
55'
A. Pinamonti enters the game and replaces A. Sánchez.
Sanchez doesn't get the chance to grab a hat-trick as Conte brings him off for Pinamonti.
54'
Young once again offers Candreva too much space and the loanee crosses towards the far post. The ball in finds none of his team-mates but Damsgaard recovers possession and crosses himself. Radu, however, is alert to the danger and dives on the ball before Keita can capitalise.
53'
Candreva drives down the right flank, making it to the byline before drilling a low, right-footed cross towards the near post. Damsgaard attempts to flick a right-footed finish but Ranocchia does well to block before Radu is called upon.
51'
Young has acres of space on the left-hand side but Eriksen's pass gets intercepted by Candreva. The loanee, who is facing his parent club here, goes over the top for the run of Keita and Radu has to be quick off his line to clear away in front of the forward.
49'
Verre is far too enthusiastic in his press and trips up Bastoni as he attempts to press on to pressure the centre-back. Radu takes the subsequent free-kick as Inter quickly settle into dominating possession again.
46'
V. Verre enters the game and replaces G. Ramírez.
A. Ekdal enters the game and replaces M. Thorsby.
M. Damsgaard enters the game and replaces J. Jankto.
A. Radu enters the game and replaces S. Handanovič.
M. Yoshida enters the game and replaces L. Tonelli.
Ekdal replaces Thorsby in midfield and he will partner Silva.
Ranieri makes a quadruple change at half-time, the first of which sees Damsgaard come on for Jankto.
Conte brings off his goalkeeper at half-time, replacing Handanovic with Radu.
Verre is also introduced at the expense of Ramirez at half-time.
At the back, Tonelli doesn't return for the second half as Yoshida takes his place.
Both sets of players have returned and the referee gets the second half underway!
45'
HALF-TIME: INTER 3-1 SAMPDORIA
44'
Sanchez and Eriksen link-up to create a counter-attacking opportunity but the Chilean forward again takes too long and the visitors manage to regroup. Sanchez is playing the game at his own pace and, if he wanted to, it seems like he could coast past Colley and Tonelli whenever he sees fit.
42'
Hakimi has his back to goal near the right-hand touchline and Colley needlessly clatters through the back of him. The referee seems to consider booking the centre-back but decides against it and instead gives the defender a stern final warning.
40'
Martinez is all alone up top and opts to take on the two centre-backs. Despite beating Tonelli, Colley doesn't fall for the same piece of skill and manages to intervene before the Argentine can trouble Audero.
36'
A. Sánchez has scored a goal for Inter Milan! Assist by A. Hakimi.
GOALLLLL! 3-1 INTER! Hakimi wanders down the right-hand side, getting his head up and crossing towards the edge of the area. Sanchez meets the cross perfectly with a first-time, right-footed volley into the bottom left corner to instantly restore Inter’s two-goal advantage.
Hakimi makes up for offering Jankto too much space for Sampdoria's equaliser and rushes down the right flank. The right wing-back finds Sanchez and the Chilean smashes in a first-time, right-footed strike into the bottom left corner from the edge of the area.
35'
K. Baldé has scored a goal for Sampdoria!
GOALLLLLL! 2-1! Jankto receives the ball on the left flank, standing up a cross towards the back post. Candreva runs onto the cross and scuffs a right-footed shot, which catches Handanovic by surprise and the ball trickles over the line. The goalkeeper attempts to claw a save away but it is too late as the referee confirms the ball has crossed the line with the help of the technology.
34'
Sanchez sprints down the right-hand channel, exchanging a one-two with Hakimi and reaching the edge of the area. The Chilean attempts to whip a cross to the front post for Martinez, however, Audero dives on the cross to intervene in front of the Argentine.
33'
Vecino forces his side forward as he carries the ball through the middle. The midfielder finds Sanchez but the move breaks down as the Chilean takes too long in possession, which allows Sampdoria to recover and get men back to defend.
31'
L. Tonelli gets yellow.
Martinez goes down off the ball and the referee deems Tonelli to have pushed him over. For his cynical actions, Tonelli becomes the first name in the referee's book.
30'
D'Ambrosio finds himself unusually far forward but Gagliardini overhits his pass to the centre-back and it races out of play for a goal-kick. Audero takes a while over the strike, allowing his team a breather and a chance to compose themselves after a fairly tough start to this game.
26'
A. Sánchez has scored a goal for Inter Milan! Assist by R. Gagliardini.
Gagliardini drives his team up the pitch, racing through the middle as he leads the counter-attack. Martinez is a passing option but Gagliardini chooses Sanchez, who sets himself before finishing into the bottom right corner with his right foot.
GOOOALLLLL! 2-0 INTER! The hosts have the chance to counter-attack down the middle and Gagliardini obliges. The midfielder plays a right-footed pass with the outside of his boot to Sanchez, who takes a touch before placing a right-footed strike past the incoming Audero and into the bottom right corner. Sampdoria get punished on the break and it is hard to see a way back for them now.
24'
Candreva looks for a long diagonal pass to Jankto, who receives the ball courtesy of a smart block from Keita on D'Ambrosio. The midfielder, however, can't get a cross away and the opportunity to attack Handanovic's goal fades away.
22'
Keita is the sole Sampdoria player in the box but Augello still tries to cross towards him. Unsurprisingly, Keita can't get near to the ball and Handanovic collects with relative ease.
20'
Consecutive corners come for the away side but, on both occasions, Inter are the first to get their heads to the ball. Candreva's delivery leaves a little to be desired too, as he is yet to beat the first man with a set-piece.
19'
Keita intercepts inside the hosts' area, offloading to Candreva, who sees his strike deflected behind for a corner. That should serve as a warning sign for Handanovic, who looks slightly uncomfortable on the ball at the minute.
18'
Eriksen produces an inch-perfect switch of play to find Young, who slides in the run of Sanchez into the area. The Chilean flicks back for Hakimi, who rolls a left-footed strike into the feet of Audero from close range. None of it would have counted, however, as the assistant has his flag up for offside.
17'
Keita hassles D'Ambrosio up top but the center-back does well to shelter possession and play back towards Handanovic, who as of yet hasn't been required to make a save. Down the other end, Inter look like troubling Audero every time they go forward.
15'
Sanchez dispossesses Silva near the halfway line and the visitors' midfielder gets lucky the referee awards a free-kick. If it wasn't for the whistle there, Sanchez and Martinez would have been two-on-two with Colley and Tonelli.
13'
Candreva again takes the set-piece but he can't beat Ranocchia at the near post as the centre-back towers over all of his opponents to head clear. Jankto tries to recycle possession, however, the midfielder instead finds touch as he puts the ball out of play with a wayward pass.
12'
Keita twists and turns in the Inter area but he can't escape the attentions of D'Ambrosio, who follows the forward all the way before blocking out for Sampdoria's second corner of the game.
8'
The first corner of the game comes on the right-hand side and Candreva crosses in. Tonelli attempts to head but it is D'Ambrosio who wins the duel as he manages to clear to the edge of the area with a header.
6'
Keita dispossesses D'Ambrosio and then races towards the byline from the left of goal. The forward looks to tee up Thorsby but the midfielder miscues his strike and sends it well wide.
4'
R. Gagliardini has scored a goal for Inter Milan! Assist by A. Young.
Martinez works through the middle, eventually sliding out to Young on the left. The English wing-back steers a cross towards the near post, where Gagliardini finishes with a sliding, right-footed finish into the bottom right corner of Audero's goal.
GOALLLLL! 1-0 INTER! Vecino plays over the top for Martinez, who chests down and offloads to Young to the left of goal. The left wing-back then produces a low, first-time left-footed cross towards the near post and Gagliardini slides in with his right foot to finish into the bottom right corner. If Gagliardini hadn't converted there, Martinez was ready and waiting behind him to pounce on the chance too.
3'
D'Ambrosio makes a mess of a long clearance, finding Silva in the middle. The visitors look to attack down the left-hand channel, however, Augello's progress gets halted by Hakimi before the left-back can get the chance to cross.
2'
Keita holds up possession well up top and sensibly opts to play backwards as both sides quietly settle into the opening stages of this game. Jankto then looks to have beaten Hakimi but the right wing-back gets the better of him.

Referee Giovanni Ayroldi gets this game underway!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Serie A fixture between Inter and Sampdoria.
After collecting their first Scudetto in over a decade, Inter return to action against Sampdoria. The hosts, who ended a run of nine successive Scudetti wins for Juventus, are unbeaten in 18 league games, their longest streak since 2008. Most recently, Antonio Conte’s men were 2-0 victors on the road against Crotone.
Sampdoria have improved in recent weeks, winning three of their last four Serie A outings. A 2-0 win last time out against Roma moved them six points clear of 11th-placed Udinese and a top-half finish is looking likely for the visitors, who currently sit in ninth.
INTER (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Andrea Ranocchia, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Alessandro Bastoni; Ashley Young, Christian Eriksen, Roberto Gagliardini, Matias Vecino, Achraf Hakimi; Alexis Sanchez, Lautaro Martinez.
SUBS: Ionut Radu, Stefano Sensi, Ivan Perisic, Matteo Darmian, Andrea Pinamonti, Nicolo Barella, Milan Skriniar, Romelu Lukaku, Marcelo Brozovic, Daniele Padelli, Stefan de Vrij.
SAMPDORIA (4-4-1-1): Emil Audero; Bartosz Bereszynski, Lorenzo Tonelli, Omar Colley, Tommaso Augello; Jakub Jankto, Adrien Silva, Morten Thorsby, Antonio Candreva; Gaston Ramirez; Keita.
SUBS: Fabio Quagliarella, Alex Ferrari, Mikel Damsgaard, Valerio Verre, Albin Ekdal, Maya Yoshida, Ernesto Torregrossa, Mehdi Leris, Kristoffer Askildsen, Vasco Regini, Manolo Gabbiadini, Karlo Letica.
Conte will be delighted with his side's first-half performance, given they won the league last week and will have been celebrating in some way, shape or form. Ranieri, however, may feel fortunate to still be in the game and needs to change things as it looks like Inter could score every time they go forward.
That is all from this Serie A fixture, until next time!
Sampdoria remain in ninth and they next host Spezia on Wednesday. Inter, who have already won the league, move 15 points clear at the top and next face Roma before travelling to Juventus on the weekend.
