83'
Casemiro has scored a goal for Brazil! Assist by Rodrygo.
GOOOOAAAALLL!!! Brazil have their breakthrough this time!!! Vinicius' inside pass is flicked on by Rodrygo, and the ball takes one bounce in the box before Casemiro smashes a half-volley that sends the ball spiralling into the far corner!! That's one hell of an improvised finish by the defensive midfielder, and it finally puts the Selecao 1-0 up!
Rodrygo's pass there was just exquisite, and the anticipation of Casemiro to finish it off was even better!
81'
Guimaraes arrives late in the box to head towards goal, but Sommer sees it all the way and easily gathers the ball.
77'
Embolo has been shut out convincingly up front, and Haris Seferovic replaces him for Switzerland.

H. Seferović enters the game and replaces B. Embolo.
Switzerland make further changes, as Sow comes off for Michel Aebischer.
74'
We're still yet to see any real chances of note, other than Vinicius' disallowed goal, but Switzerland have seemingly turned a corner in this half. They only managed one shot to Brazil's six in the first half, but outnumber the Selecao five shots to two in the second period.
73'
Antony enters the game and replaces Raphinha.
Gabriel Jesus enters the game and replaces Richarlison.
Raphinha's also been quiet so far this second half, and Antony will replace the Barcelona winger.
Richarlison's heroics against Serbia haven't been repeated in this game, and he won't play any further part as he's taken off for Gabriel Jesus.

Brazil make an attacking half-time change, with Real Madrid winger Rodrygo coming on for Lucas Paqueta.

HALF-TIME: BRAZIL 0-0 SWITZERLAND.
Vargas whips in a Swiss corner that Akanji flicks on at the front post, but Sandro stops and clears the ball for Brazil as the half-time whistle goes.
45'
We'll play just a minute of added time at the end of this first half, which is certainly a rarity given how much we have been seeing!
43'
Raphinha drives into the box and looks for Richarlison, but the striker's run is matched by that of Elvedi and he heads behind for a corner.
38'
Raphinha finds space in the left side of the box and floats a cross into the centre, but Sommer jumps high to catch the ball and quash the chance.

26'
Widmer picks up the ball in space and drives into the box, but he's dispossessed by a well-timed Silva tackle as he looks to release Freuler.
25'
Sow and Vargas both attempt balls into the box, but Marquinhos is equal to both and clears twice in quick succession for Brazil.

Vargas darts across the box to latch onto Akanji's pass forward, but his cross from the byline finds no-one but Alisson in the centre of the area.
15'
Embolo turns and advances towards the box, but is tackled and caught on the floor by Casemiro. The free-kick is called by the referee, with Switzerland 35 yards from goal.
13'
Good one-touch play between Casemiro and Fred puts Richarlison through on goal again, but a poor first touch from the striker sends the ball behind for a goal kick.
11'
Fred wins possession superbly and looks to release Richarlison on the counter, but Elvedi tackles through the back of him and concedes a cheap free-kick.
9'
Embolo holds off the attention of Silva and Switzerland play it wide to Rodriguez. He crosses from deep, but the ball is volleyed clear by Militao before any yellow shirts can get to it.
5'
Xhaka flicks a long pass forward for Embolo, who has the run on Marquinhos, but Alisson comes well out of his area to clear the ball forward.
4'
After Vinicius wins a free-kick down the left touchline, Raphinha drills the ball into the box, and Richarlison just mistimes a glancing header that would have certainly caused problems!

Embolo kicks off, as Switzerland get this Group G clash underway!
Brazil’s tournament got going in the best way possible against Serbia, as the Selecao triumphed 2-0 in Lusail. An hour-long deadlock was broken by Tottenham striker Richarlison, who scored two goals within 11 minutes of each other. The second strike of his brace was something special, firing an improvised overhead kick into the bottom corner, sealing the victory with this goal of the tournament contender.
Switzerland were also victorious in their opening game, sneaking home with a 1-0 victory over Cameroon. Breel Embolo scored the only goal of the game against the country of his birth, and that leaves these two sides with three points apiece ahead of this clash.
SWITZERLAND SUBS: Jonas Omlin, Gregor Kobel, Philipp Kohn, Edimilson Fernandes, Denis Zakaria, Haris Seferovic, Renato Steffen, Michel Aebischer, Christian Fassnacht, Eray Comert, Fabian Frei, Fabian Schar, Xerdan Shaqiri, Ardon Jashari.

We're back for the second half, and can Brazil's quality shine through to break the deadlock in the second half?
Hello and welcome to live coverage of this fixture from the World Cup as Brazil and Switzerland face off in Group G.
That's all from us, we hope you enjoyed the game. Until the next World Cup fixture, which is never too far away, goodbye!
Brazil's 1-0 victory gives them two wins from two so far, and a maximum of six points. They top the group by three points ahead of Switzerland, who remain second following Cameroon and Serbia's earlier draw in the corresponding Group G fixture. That means despite this disappointing loss, the Swiss are in pole position to join already-qualified Brazil in the knockout stages, though they'll have to improve against Serbia in their final game to prevent being leapfrogged by their European neighbours.
