The players are coming out of the tunnel and making their way onto the pitch!
Cremonese are desperately searching for their first league win of the season to help them climb closer to safety. It will be a difficult task for Davide Ballardini’s side as they have the second-worst home record in the league and have conceded the most goals (33). They have, however, proven they can cause an upset as they beat Napoli in the Coppa Italia round of 16, albeit on penalties.
Three points will also be vital for Inter after falling 13 points behind league leaders Napoli following a 1-0 defeat to Empoli in their last fixture. With the Champions League returning soon, Simone Inzaghi will want to get as many points on the board as possible, but a suspension for Milan Skriniar has not done him any favours. A win could move the Italian giants up to second for the time being.
Most of Inter's chances are coming from crosses as they are having a lot more joy progressing down the wide areas than through the middle. Cremonese are holding their own at the moment, but it is clear the away side are growing in this game.
That's all for today, goodbye!
Despite a valiant performance, Cremonese remain winless at the bottom of Serie A. Inter move up to second for now as Milan, Lazio, and Roma are yet to play. Cremonese face Roma in the Coppa Italia next before hosting Lecce in the league. Inter play Atalanta in the cup and will then prepare for a huge derby game against Milan.
