K. De Bruyne has scored a goal for Belgium! Assist by D. Mertens.
That was clever from Mertens to delay giving the ball back to De Bruyne until he could get into a shooting position, and then sending a perfectly weighted return pass into his path.
AND A THIRD! Belgium make it 3-0 at the death as De Bruyne finally gets his goal, playing a lovely give-and-go with Mertens before bending a delicious finish through a crowd and into the bottom corner from the top of the box, with Marshall left rooted to his spot.
90' +1
Thorgan Hazard also gives way, with Carrasco taking his place for the final two minutes of stoppage time.
90'
T. Vermaelen enters the game and replaces V. Kompany.
Y. Carrasco enters the game and replaces T. Hazard.
Belgium make a double substitution ahead of injury time. Vermaelen comes on at the expense of Kompany, who departs to a thunderous applause.
86'
Belgium respond in a hurry as Thorgan Hazard tees up his brother at the other end, but Marshall does really well to get down and parry Eden's effort from 20 yards! It's all coming to life again in the dying embers of this match!
78'
D. Mertens enters the game and replaces Y. Tielemans.
Belgium looking for more goals, perhaps, as Mertens is brought on with their first change of the match, at the expense of Tielemans.
75'
The final whistle couldn't come sooner for Scotland. They're showing little fight here, though in their defence Belgium are a well-oiled machine in excellent form at the moment. This has been a daunting task for the visitors, who have been pegged back down to earth after their victory over Cyprus.
73'
Belgium continue to attack relentlessly, hardly taking their foot off the gas. A clever back-heel from Lukaku picks out Eden Hazard in space, but him and De Bruyne just get their signals crossed as his throughball rolls behind for a goal kick.
67'
J. Forrest enters the game and replaces J. Russell.
Scotland's second change of the match sees Forrest replace Russell in attack. It's a like-for-like change, which won't prompt any alterations to the formation.
63'
Successive corners for Belgium amount to nothing as Scotland deal with the threat and look to break quickly, but they lack confidence on the counter and their indecision allows Belgium to recover and snuff out the chance.
Minute
Description
61'
It's hard to envision a way back for Scotland here. They've offered next to nothing going forward all match and have had just two touches in the Belgium penalty area tonight. Their focus over the final 30 minutes will likely be damage control.
57'
R. Lukaku has scored a goal for Belgium!
LUKAKU HAS HIS BRACE! It's 2-0 Belgium! The striker seems to be averaging a chance every couple of minutes tonight! He beats Taylor to a rebound and turns the ball in from eight yards after Marshall saved De Bruyne's initial effort. There was maybe a hint of offside there, but it was the finest of margins and the linesman was right to keep his flag down.
52'
S. McTominay gets yellow.
Seconds later and Belgium will have yet another chance from a free-kick as McTominay commits a foul on Thorgan Hazard, and sees yellow.
48'
The second half starts where the first half left off, with Belgium on the front foot and Marshall busy in goal. The keeper gets down to his left in a hurry to smother a Witsel strike from a little over 20 yards.
46'
Scotland get the second half underway. No changes for either side at the interval.
45' +3
HALF-TIME: BELGIUM 1-0 SCOTLAND.
45' +1
R. Lukaku has scored a goal for Belgium! Assist by E. Hazard.
Great work from Eden Hazard not to just let that ball roll behind for a corner, stretching to keep play alive before clipping a tidy ball in for Lukaku, who simply couldn't miss.
THERE IT IS! Belgium lead 1-0! Scotland's resistance is broken at long last! Eden Hazard keeps the ball in play after De Bruyne's run was halted in the penalty area, and he clips a delicious cross in for Lukaku who turns a simple header in from five yards! Belgium have their lead on the stroke of half-time, and it's no more than they deserve.
44'
An eighth corner of the match for Belgium amounts to nothing, as Scotland clear their lines and boot the ball up the pitch, where there's nothing but three red shirts waiting to start Belgium forward again. There's simply no respite to be had for Scotland.
42'
De Bruyne sees another shot blocked and Belgium have themselves yet another corner, as they desperately search for a breakthrough before the interval which is now right around the corner. Scotland are throwing bodies in front of the ball and clogging up every passing lane as best they can. It's scrappy, but determined, stuff from them at the back.
38'
Lukaku finds himself in a little pocket of space in the six-yard box as he's picked out at the near post, but the striker is almost taken by surprise as the ball finds its way through to him and he's unable to sort his footing to turn an effort at goal from in close. That's a real chance wasted.
36'
Marshall deserves the bulk of the credit, but Scotland have done well under intense pressure to keep this game scoreless, and if they can find a way to see out the half without conceeding, you just never know. Surely some fatigue will be setting in at the back, though. They could use a breather here.
34'
K. De Bruyne gets yellow.
Fraser makes a relatively quick and positive impact as he lures De Bruyne into a foul, which sees the Manchester City playmaker pick up the game's first yellow card.
32'
R. Fraser enters the game and replaces S. Armstrong.
Armstrong appears to have picked up a knock as he limps off, replaced by Fraser. Nothing going according to plan here for Scotland.
26'
It seems like Belgium have done everything but score so far. Not even 30 minutes gone yet and somehow it remains goalless. The Red Devils remain camped out in attack here, with Scotland almost complete strangers at the other end. They've hardly stepped in the Belgium half thus far.
18'
The ensuing corner results in another chance for Belgium as Witsel's shot finds its way through the crowd. Marshall makes the initial save and spills the rebound, but manages to recover before he's punished.
15'
The Hazard brothers have developed a terrific partnership on the left flank, with Belgium spending plenty of time building their attacks from out that way. O'Donnell and Russell have their hands full here, and it's because of the width Belgium have that's preventing Scotland from getting bodies forward on the break. Their wingers are constantly having to track back.
13'
It's one-way traffic in Brussels as Belgium attack freely. Scotland can't spend 90 minutes camped out in defence and realistically expect to leave with a point, but there's been no way out from the back for them thus far.
7'
Belgium remain camped out in the final third, with all 10 of Scotland's outfield players packed behind the ball. It's so congested as a result, as Belgium are having to be patient to try and pass their way through the crowd, but it's also allowing them to commit as many forward as they would like.
5'
Play resumes and Meunier jogs back out onto the pitch shortly after under his own power. He seems to be moving a bit freer, but this is definitely one to keep an eye on. His progression will have to be monitored over the next little bit to see if it's wise for him to continue.
3'
Plenty of early pressure from Belgium who are not holding anything back in their attempts to get forward. There's a good width and rhythm to their approach as they keep Scotland on their heels, but the visitors are holding firm for the time being.
1'
AND THEY'RE OFF! Belgium in all red as they get the match underway in Brussels, with Scotland in their yellow tops and blue shorts.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of this Euro 2020 qualifying match as Belgium welcome Scotland to King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels!
Clear favourites in Group I, Belgium are off to a flying start and will look to make it four wins from four tonight to begin their qualifying campaign, having already beaten Russia, Kazakhstan and San Marino.
Qualification to Euro 2020 is shaping up to be little more than a formality for Belgium, who are chasing a first major trophy having reached the quarter-finals in Euro 2016, and the semi-finals at the 2018 World Cup.
Successive victories have Scotland higher up in the standing, but narrow wins over San Marino and Cyprus are nothing to inspire much confidence, especially not after an embarrassing 3-0 defeat at Kazakhstan to start their campaign.
That loss could prove detrimental to Scotland’s qualifying hopes, putting that much more significance on stealing a couple of positive results against Group I’s favourites Belgium and Russia if they are to qualify for a first major tournament since the 1998 World Cup.
BELGIUM (3-4-3): Thibaut Courtois; Toby Alderweireld, Vincent Kompany, Jan Vertonghen; Thomas Meunier, Youri Tielemans, Axel Witsel, Thorgan Hazard; Kevin De Bruyne, Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku.
SUBS: Adnan Januzaj, Timothy Castagne, Dennis Praet, Thomas Vermaelen, Simon Mignolet, Divock Origi, Yannick Carrasco, Michy Batshuayi, Dries Mertens, Leander Dendoncker, Christian Benteke, Matz Sels.
SCOTLAND (4-3-3): David Marshall; Stephen O'Donnell, Charlie Mulgrew, Scott McKenna, Greg Taylor; Scott McTominay, Stuart Armstrong, Kenny McLean; Johnny Russell, Callum McGregor, Oliver Burke.
SUBS: John McGinn, Scott Bain, John Souttar, Eamonn Brophy, Liam Palmer, James Forrest, Graeme Shinnie, Stuart Findlay, Jon McLaughlin, Marc McNulty, Ryan Fraser.
Steve Clarke has already been forced into one change in this match, but he might not have the luxury of waiting much longer to make a second. Oliver Burke has been incredibly isolated up top, with the visitors desperately needing more options to play out from the back - perhaps a Callum McGregor or John McGinn to help link defence and attack.
With the international break drawing to a close, both sides are not in action again until September, when Belgium will visit San Marino and Scotland will return home to host Russia. That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
